Good location, direct Underground Access. Rooms are nice. Not enough power plugs. WIFI free. Gym and Spa on top floor 25/26. Gym fee is extra if you have a low hotel rate approx 6 Euro. Breakfast and Restaurant on second floor are good.

It was nice experience staying in hotel at 21 st floor. Off course little away from kitchen so no noise. Very near to sightseeing and polite staff at reception.
Spa and swimming pool is excellent and staff is very cooperative. Executive lounge is having nice overall view of city.
Though nothing as such for children but for us doesn't matter as most of the time spend outside the hotel for sightseeing.

Room Tip: Rooms on south side away from old city view

Dear Guest

On behalf of the team thank you for your feedback. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed our hotel facilities and the beautiful city of Prague. The team has already taken on board your comments in relation to further improve the kids offering. Our young guests are very important for us and we are currently putting some nice packages together to ensure that they also get a small touch of hospitality to take away with them back home. Krtecek the Mole will soon join our team and will be present in all rooms with Kids

I have also passed your positive comments to the team. We all enjoy great feedback

Best regards and enjoy Spring

Just returned from a 2 night stay in Prague. I booked this hotel based on the location and the views mainly, although the service was also a factor in my decision.

I was not disappointed in any way, the location was perfect and really easy to find, having driven from Krakow. The hotel is based just outside the main centre, and a simple and short tube trip into the old town. You can buy the tickets at the concierge desk for the tube which helps, just remember to validate them before getting on the train.

Two stops and you arrive in the old town, it's that simple. We did take a couple of taxis back, and they are typically dodgy, one trip was 4 times the 1st trip. Due to this I would recommend using the hotel taxi service if you don't fancy the train, as it uses fixed prices and there is no way to be ripped off.

The hotel has some fantastic restaurants, although the quality of food throughout Prague did seem to be fairly high. The ribs, soaked in beer and BBQ sauce at the Grill restaurant in the hotel were amazing!

The service from the staff was outstanding, everyone was extremely helpful and friendly and all spoke perfect English. We received a free upgrade and the room was really nice, even though it was on a low floor (5th), it still afforded some nice views of the city. But the best views are from the spa level, on the 25th floor. My wife had a massage and thoroughly enjoyed it, after 2 days of exploring the city by foot, she looked completely relaxed and rejuvenated.

Firstly, I agree with Royalty0606 about the almost choking smell of cigarette smoke. I think it's a phenomenon across most of Europe which some of us are not accustomed to and one hopes something will be done about it to try and keep the air clean and protect non-smokers. That dispensed with, Corinthia, or shall I say Prague, was a revelation. The hotel lived up to its five star rating and in terms of European standards, we paid a very good price and still got a further discount. The room was clean, well serviced, warm with a beautiful view of the city, and this seemed a normal room. I enjoyed especially the music in the bathroom. Breakfast was wonderful, concierge services outstanding and we could exchange currency in the hotel and even buy tickets for daily transport. The train station is basically at the hotel entrance. We were advised though that there are other very good hotels in Prague, which I would like to try out but I will certainly not hesitate to stay again at or recommend Corinthia to anyone. Upon check-out, we were informed we had been charged for water and drinks or chips i can't remember, consumed from the bar fridge, which we hadn't, and the cost was just reversed based on our word, no fuss. Now, that's the level of trust and respect one doesn't get everywhere. We did not try the spa as we had a full-on programme and only two days in Prague. Disappointment? dinner, both the service and food. Overall, well done Corinthia Prague!!

We booked the executive suite on the 22nd floor and enjoyed a splendid view of the city. The grandiose building looks great from outside. But the time we stayed saw many tourist groups. It wasn't great to have them shouting around and made the inside like a Saturday farm market. We were lucky to get away with the crowds with breakfast in the executive lounge so that we don't have to queue for a piece of bread. As the hotel is close to the conference center and has a huge capacity, you probably should expect this kind of crowded lobby be a norm all year round.
As for the location, it is a bit far from the city center. But the metro station is virtually at the doorstep thus transport isn't bad.
