“Typical business hotel”
Reviewed 15 September 2013 via mobile

I stayed for business reasons in this hotel and did not go into the city centre with either taxi or metro.I guess location is not bad for tourists, but it does not have any of the old world charm or any atmosphere which you can find in the old town. Lobby is typical business style with large bar area; comfortable but not very cozy. Rooms are pretty small with low ceilings which can give you a cramped feeling. Room is clean though with normal business facilities. Bed was. Fine. Very small bathroom with bath/shower combo. Aircon works but does not provide lower temperature range.hotel corridors are warm, despite cool weather. No complimentary water and usual pricey minibar.Wifi is free and worked well.you need to know username and password which both are just the name of the hotel in small letters.Breakfast is average business hotel like. Its certainly not my favourite Prague hotel, but for a business stay ok. Lots of asian tour groups and congress groups use the hotel. Its next to a congress centre and it has the usual conference facilities of its own.would not recommend for private travellers who seek some atmosphere.

This is a hotel destination that truly cares about its patrons. We were afforded every consideration possible for any and all small requests during our stay. Front desk staff and management were approachable and responsive, the spa staff were invested in our experience and called us by name. In particular the staff in the Executive Lounge were welcoming and made every effort to make our experience satisfying. One staff trainee Luigi stands out as an exceptional example of and individual dedicated to providing wonderful customer service. I recommend that everyone should have an opportunity to meet him and enjoy the panoramic view of Prague from the Executive lounge floor.

Room Tip: The suites are beautiful and well appointed.

Dear Guest

Greetings from the beautiful city of Prague. Thank you for your kind comments which i shall pass on to the team. I particularly note your words of praise for Luigi who was with us throughout this summer as part of his traineeship. Well, the hotel is now pleased to have Luigi joining our team on permanent basis. He did not only do a great job whilst with us, but has become one of the most favourite team members with our guests, making us all proud of him

We hope that you will visit us once again in the near future. Until then we wish you all the best

Kind Regards

From the moment my colleague and I walked through the front door of the Corinthia hotel we were treated with a cordial respect that surpassed our expectations. Our rooms was not ready when we arrived jet lagged and without our luggage and were given keys to the Executive lounge and spa where we were able to take a nap by the beautiful pool while we waited. Of special note for us was the generous and attentive treatment by all of the staff from the front desk personnel and valets for baggage, to the spa attendants, housekeeping personnel and the staff in the executive lounge.

The hotel has 4 or 5 suites of which we had 1. It was always very clean, full stocked and with a turn down service (chocolate included). We kept wondering why we were being treated like very special guests!! Had they mistaken us for high powered executives?
The view from our room and the executive lounge were breathtaking and the friendly staff were always happy to answer questions and provide guidance about sites and travel through the city.

Amenities for business meetings included a suite of private rooms, for printing, copying meetings etc. Free internet is available throughout the hotel. The gym is fully equipped with treadmills, elliptical trainers, machines and free weights. The spa includes a sauna, steam room and plunge pool!!! (a wonderful feature). The executive lounge served as an oasis at the end of a busy day of meetings. Service includes a full breakfast, tea and coffee in the afternoon and in the evening wine and small appetizers both hot and cold.

The best of course is the price which is very reasonable and competitive (under $200. CAN dollars a night) especially when compared with other places which offer far less in quality of service, surroundings and range of amenities.

We also met very interesting people who were travelling through Prague.

On the whole one of the best experiences I have had in a European hotel

Room Tip: The suites with access to the executive lounge and spa are reasonably priced

Very good clean comfortable hotel out of the town so fairly quiet. The metro is just steps away so quick and easy to get into Prague Old Town or any part of Prague really. All the staff were very friendly and very helpful. We ate in the Grill once and although a bit pricey the food was excellent. Drinks are cheaper elsewhere but always are more expensive in a five star hotel. The Concierge booked us two trips with no fuss or problems and were no more expensive than if we had gone to the trouble to book ourselves. Altogether a lovely experience and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. My tip is book a room on the higher floors (we were on floor 20) and get a wonderful view of the city.

Room Tip: Book a room on the higher floors ( we were on floor 20) for a wonderful view of the city.

Really good hotel with excellent staff. Although not in the old Town so close to the metro this was not a problem. Rooms very luxurious, especially the beds. Good bathroom that actually had a bath tub. We were on the 17th floor, amazing views of Prague. Restaurants looked good, although a little pricey, we only had breakfast in the hotel and this was one of the best we have had in a hotel. Such choice. The Concierge was extremely efficient booking our trips and issuing metro tickets. Also very quick to issue directions. We really enjoyed our time in Prague and would love to return, if so we will definitely stay at the Corinthian.

We stayed for two nights in the Executive Suites and it was well worth it (slept like a King). The hotel panoramic view was amazing overlooking the 10th century wall and city. The Executive Lounge staff was excellent and made us feel more than welcome for breakfast and evening meal. The wifey enjoyed the spa and we each enjoyed the pool and massage chair in the suite. TheCasino offered a wind down in the evening after touring the city. We will definitely stay in the Corinthia again. Kudos to all there!!

Room Tip: Executive Suites with panoramic view is a must!! Well worth the extra cost!!

I have now been staying at the Corinthia for 6 months on business so you can feel reassured that I can give a balanced and informed review. Simply put, this hotel is my home away from home! Superb customer service and friendly staff throughout the hotel have ensured that my stays have been easy and relaxing.

There is a great gym and pool/sauna complex which I have used consistently through my stay.

The hotel is situated 5 minute taxi away from the top of Wencleiss square and 10 mins from the Old Town Square (the tourism/cultural centre). There is also metro station directly in front of the hotel so getting in and out of the city throughout the day is very easy, cheap and efficient.

The highest praise I can give the hotel is that everything ‘just works’ be it the cleanliness of the rooms, the quality of the restaurants and finally and most importantly the friendliness, consistency and efficiency of the staff.

Overall, it is very much recommended!
