“LOVED this hotel :) comfortable and great location”
Reviewed 2 January 2014

We came to Prague on the 26th of Dec for 4 nights, part of the reason I chose this hotel was because of its close proximity to the metro station, although we didn't realise just how close it was until we arrived and saw it was literally a few steps away and we used this everyday to travel easily all over the city.
I have seen previous posts complaining about very hot rooms and our first room was very hot when we entered but we adjusted the heating easily and it was fine, the room 525 was lovely with a huge queen bed and nice modern bathroom. Although at night we did find that being right next to the lift bay it was very very noisey with the noise of the lifts whooshing up and down, the next morning I asked at reception if it would be possible to be moved, to be honest thinking that they wouldn't want to move us but Lucie on recepton couldn't have been more helpful and asked if we also needed any help in moving rooms, we were given room 707 instead which again was great and much quieter, the beds are extremely comfortable and the bathroom nice and clean and modern. We had breakfast every morning in the hotel which was extremely good and filling for us, lots of choices and always topped up with fresh food etc even when it got busier as we were leaving, perfect start for a busy day of sight seeing ahead. Overall the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, we brought our 24 hour metro tickets at the concierge desk every day and were advised on other attractions around the city to see including the vyserad castle just 10 mins walk away which was lovley and away from a lot of tourists, we were lucky with the weather and enjoyed lovely sunny but cold days and with lovely views from the hotel to enjoy.
We did use the grill restaurant one evening and were really impressed with the service and food (although the beer was a little expensive) I had the prawns which were delicious and hanger steak which was also very good and my husband had the onion ring followed by the bbq ribs special which he enjoyed followed by chocolate brownie and crème brule a very nice meal and an oasis from the town centre full of tourists

We returned yesterday from Prague after five nights stay at Corinthia hotel (26 - 31/12/2013). It was our 2nd stay in this hotel. Really nice and great hotel as expected. Easy access to the metro (a few meters from Vysehrad station) and just 2 stations to Museum (city center). Stayed at 18th floor with a superb view of the town. Very good and rich breakfast with friendly staff. Even when there was a big queue we didn't wait more than 10 minutes. Staff in the reception and concierge was friendly and knowledgeable about the town, metro tickets etc. Big rooms with view and very good and comfortable beds. The problem was with the housekeeping. At least two days they didn't left towels in the room. One day they left only one towel. Also the hotel maids didn't left toilet paper. Except this inconvenience everything was great.

Room Tip: Ask for room in higher floors (if available) just for the view.

Hotel is situated steps away from metro, with a very charming view of city, especially on upper floors. Staff was exceedingly gracious, sincere and always smiling.
Breakfast buffet was extensive and always well stocked with great views of city.
Hotel Spa and Pool are on top floors again with commanding views of city.
If I could but the bed and comforter I would. Also was not feeling well, Micaleah, spelling?, made regular inquiries about my health, which was comforting. David the concierges we dealt with was extremely thorough and enthusiastic.By far one of the most enjoyable hotel stays ever, despite feeling sick the entire time.

Room Tip: higher floors have better views

This hotel is situated a little bit out of the town, but the metro is in front of the hotel and only 2 stops away from centre. You can buy tickets in this hotel or in the metrostation. They helped us very well at the reception with a very warm welcoming! They even brought a present on my husbands birthday :) The room was good and clean. The bed was very good, it was a hard bed, we liked that! Only the bathroom was a little bit small, just for one person, but clean. The showercurtain we didn't like. There are also bathrobes we used for the spa. The swimmingpool has a beautifull view. When you want to go into the sauna, you get a very large tablecloth because it's not allowed to go with bathsuite in the sauna. But this too large tablecloth isn't very comfortable. It's better to give the guests an extra bathtowel, it's softer, ticker and more usefull. The breakfast was better than expected. Many choices (bread, eggs, bacon, pancakes, cake, fresh fruit, cornflakes, muesli, yoghurt, jam, ...) and friendly service! But it's a pity that when this breakfastbuffet is so good and extensive, you have to pay for the fresh orangejuice!

Our family stayed at the Corinthia Prague for visiting the city of Prague during four days. We received a warm welcome at the hotel. The room was comfortable, clean and nicely furnished. We had one problem in the room during our stay and after contacting housekeeping, they resolved the problem within 15 minutes.
The staff members were most helpful in each and every department. On our second night we had a meal in 'The Grill' restaurant, which was kind of disappointing.

This hotel also has a good access to the city of Prague. It is located at 30 meters of the Vysehrad metro station and the centre is just 5 minutes away by metro.

All in all we had an excellent 4 night stay in Prague which was complemented by the service and comfort we experienced in the Corinthia, and we would not hesitate to stay there again for a future visit or recommend it to our family and friends.

In this hotel I have several times spent a few nights.
The hotel is situated within sight of the city center. The view from the executive room is amazing. Just need to have when booking ask for a room with city views.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, almost all can not regulate the temperature in the room and the room was so overheated.
Breakfast in the executive lounge is good, unfortunately the choice is very limited. However, the quality of coffee served to the 2nd floor and the executive lounge is terrible.
The staff in the executive lounge is very helpful and nice and performs well above standard requirements.
In particular, I would like to mention Ms. Marie, who willingly served us throughout the stay.
Corinthia is a very nice hotel, unfortunately, has no loyalty program or benefits for returning clients. (I spent there for 20 nights), or me, these benefits were not offered.

Room Tip: upgrade to executive room and ask for city view

Its a big hotel, very clean and nice. The city view from the pool (which is on the last floor) is amazing. The rooms where ok, not too small or to big. The breakfast was also rich. We only had a problem with the cleaning lady of the room, who didnt clean our room because of her own reasons, but she also came into the room and cursed us in her own language.
