“Your good choice”
Reviewed 7 January 2014

I loved my stay at the hotel : comfortable rooms, tea / coffee facilities in the room , great view of the city ( I lived on the 23rd floor ) ... The breakfasts were great! The Grill restaurant is also good.
I am pleased to use the pool, visited a beauty salon - no complaints. By the way, in the bathroom deluxe rooms you will find cosmetics ESPA.
I spent New Year's Eve at the hotel - was offered a good program , a truly wonderful buffet.
The hotel staff are very attentive , friendly and responsive.
The hotel is located not in the center, but very close .
Wi-Fi is available everywhere in hotel.
I recommend this hotel .

Me and my girlfriend have just come back from Prague. And what a lovely time we had, wether wondering and exploring the old town of Prague or spending time at our hotel which happened to be Corintha. Working in a hotel/hospitality industry myself I'm very aware of what is a good hotel and service that makes you want to come back again. And this hotel is definitely worth coming back. Hotel is very well located, only two stops from the old town. Rooms are clean and if you lucky enough to get the room on the upper flours you'll have a beautiful view of a beautiful city Prague. The staff was very professional, genuine and here to assist you in any way, surprisingly very well english spoken. On our departure date we had a late flight so I went to speak with reception wether it's possible to arrange the late departure at my surprise I was offered by Gilles(FOH manager) departure time at 16h at no extra cost which made our visit even more comfortable. So if you planing of visiting Prague I would strongly recommend staying at Corinthia hotel.

We are absolutely in agreement with the majority of people posting here, this was a superb hotel. The staff were extremely polite, competent and helpful with all matters, a very helpful aspect when visiting the city for just a few days. The metro - walk out of the front door and right to the metro doors, maybe 100 metres. We did have a nice view over Vyšehrad castle with downtown Prague visible in the distance.

As another person had suggested here earlier, we upgraded to the executive rooms, 22nd floor, as that included spa/pool access, breakfast each day and also a happy hour from 18h00 to 20h00 in the executive lounge. That and a business lounge with computer and printer access. The happy hour - free drinks and appetizers - was a great way to unwind after a series of lengthy promenades in the city :-) And I am not talking about peanuts, crisps and pretzels, but poached salmon, mini vegetable skewers, chicken wings, smoked salmon, etc. All in all, the extra 40€ was definitely worth it.

Our room was large by European standards, very clean, the bed was comfortable (the little chocolate on the pillow is really cute), the bathrobes were a nice touch, even if my doggone huge feet made the slippers kind of pointless ;-). If there was any drawback to the room I would say it would be in the shower heads: it seemed difficult to control the temperature and the direction of the water flow.

The only other suggestion I could offer would be the time advertised on the restaurants. They are described as open to 11, but you need to place your order by 10h30 or so. We arrived kind of late, dawdled in the rooms, so we were too late for the restaurant. But as a saving note, room service goes until 1:00 in the morning, so we had our food delivered to the Blue Note Bar. We enjoyed some live jazz, Czech beer and mojitos in a very nice atmosphere.

Michaela Sitovova, the Guest Services Manager, was a remarkably helpful and pleasant person. And she was typical of all the staff we encountered. We are looking forward to our next trip to Prague, and the Corinthia will certainly be on the top of my list when looking for a place to stay.

Room Tip: I would go for the executive room.

Full **** hotel located just next to Vysehrad Park, two subway stations from Wenceslav Square (Museum Station) and next to Congress Center is an ideal place for both business and leisure travellers, as we were.
We went there for three days to meet New Year's Eve 2014 in Old Town Market's unique atmosphere.
Hotel is not inexpensive but worth every penny! King's bed is one of the best places we slept ever! Breakfast included in price (huge Swedish buffet) and complimentary spa access were extras justifying hight season's price.
Minus is high price for hotel garage and small Finish and steam saunas for a hotel that dimension and value.
Nevertheless we decided to come back there sometimes in 2014.

Room Tip: Choose upper floors and city's side.

Just returned after 3 nights at this Hotel, and I completely agree with the majority of the Reviews here.

Even before we arrived, the customer service was great - I contacted the hotel to arrange a treat for my girlfriend, and Guest Manager Michaela took care of this swiftly and personally. On the final night, we were approached by another Manager at the end of dinner and asked how our stay was, and on the final morning a 3rd manager personally met us to say goodbye in Reception! Excellent, personal service across all 3 days.

The breakfast selection each morning was great and varied (cereals, cooked food, pastries, meat, cheese and more), and The Grill restaurant had a good choice of very tasty food in the evening, with good service, and also at reasonable costs (we ate there twice).

Our room was very clean and extremely comfortable and we had lovely views of the castle from our window. There was even a constant stream of music being played into the bathroom (which could be turned off or reduced in volume if needed) - a relaxing touch!

The Spa facilities were very clean and definitely worth using (great views from the top floor!), although it does get busy and there was a time when several people had to wait for beds (a minor issue really). Certain treatment slots were also fully booked when trying to book 'on the day', so early booking for these is recommended.

The hotel is in a great location - immediately outside a Metro station and about 10 minutes from the Old Town; a great location from which to explore Prague.

Granted, visitors could eat and drink cheaper elsewhere in Prague, but as a relaxing, clean and customer-friendly base from which to explore Prague, I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again without question.

Room Tip: Ask for castle view if possible. Book Spa treatments early.

I found this hotel a difficult one to review as I there was much I liked about it but there were a few things that I did find frustrating. The temperature is the room was difficult to control....even with the air conditioning turned off I had to have the window open permanently to keep the temperature down to a comfortable level. the staff were always friendly and helpful but their IT let them down and the check in and check out could be time consuming and seemed to take ages so thee was often long queues in the morning. I was also disappointed that you had to pay extra to go for a swim or use the gym which wasn't clear when I booked.
I liked the location and being right outside the metro was great and the hotel provide a day pass for 110 Krona that you could use on the metro and the trams. We used the trams a lot as it was a much better way of getting around the city but still seeing it rather than using the metro.
