Stayed for 3 nights in July. Staff were friendly, helpful and eager to please. Room was spacious and clean with the services one would expect. Location of the hotel was central to many of the places we wanted to be. Buffet breakfast was extensive and kept well supplied. Food was basic and good. The room cost for a peak holiday period was modest and represented excellent value. Was very pleasantly surprised with a bottle of quite reasonable wine on my birthday. Unexpected and a nice thoughtful touch.

Can't speak too highly about the staff - they were great. Will be recommending the hotel to all our friends. It was the best value hotel in our 4 weeks travelling through Europe and the UK.

Nothing fancy, but a clean room walking distance to all the attractions. We found Prague a compact city with all the popular travel sites easy to walk to from hotel (but watch out for the many cobblestone streets). Also a short distance from the train station, DO NOT take a cab from the train station. While aware cabs are known for over-charging in Prague unless using a fair trade cab, assumed the train station cabs would be regulated. Paid over $60 for what was less than a 10 minute walk, and that was after I expressed concern on the original quote which was $80. After arriving from Budapest without a single money exchange problem, I did not count my money originally in Prague and was shorted over $30 at one location. Prague is a more touristy city, be cautious of the toursit traps. The desk staff at Hotel Harmony were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast room was nice and selection wide and varied, although we stuck primarily with bread, cheese and pastries, several hot choices every day (hot dogs, sausages, beans, rice, etc. not typical American breakfast fare but a good way for a full meal before heading out.) A very good stay for the money, not luxurious by any means but not a hostel either.

Would willingly stay again and recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a hotel within walking distance of all attractions in Prague. The reception staff went out of their way to help and advise at all times, even when very busy.
many thanks

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at Harmony. The location was ideal for the price, just a few blocks from Obecni Dum, the Powder Tower, and the best of Prague! The breakfast buffet had plenty of food (things I'm not used to, but I don't expect typical American fare in Prague) and was re-stocked regularly. The elevator was a little scary, but worth the experience. Our room was huge and had plenty of electrical outlets (a must for most American travelers) and we had sufficient space for our belongings. My concerns were that the bed linens didn't appear to be changed that frequently, the mattress was not that comfortable, and the bathroom had insufficient shelf space for toiletries. ALSO! The mirror above the bathroom sink was so high that I had a great view of myself from the eyebrows up, but that's about it. I'm 5'2" and of Czech descent, so surely someone could have given that a bit more consideration. Overall, good friendly staff, reasonably priced use of safe boxes, and the value couldn't be beat.

The hotel itself is ok, the room was confortable enough, good shower, but the bed was a little too hard for my taste. It's located downtown close to the most famous sightseeing so it's possible to walk. In the reception I was so well treated by Maria and Tomas that I will definetely stay there again, they were so helpful in giving tips of where to go, what to see... Totally recommend it

We were a 5 minute walk from the Metro line that takes people directly into the main station, and a 5 minute walk from the Old Town Square. The breakfast buffett was adequate size, and had a reasonable amount of selection. The neighborhood is fine, with several other hotels in the area. You did have to leave your key at the front desk, which is unusual from most hotels that I have been to in Europe. The desk was adequately staffed, and all employees were pleasant.

Was looking for somewhere really cheap to stay as I was under the impression I wouldnt be staying in the hotel so wouldnt care what it looked like, it was decent enough, clean, one or two minor discrepancies, had way too much furniture in the room, I was actually tempted to remove some myself, maybe even get rid of that extra bed that wasnt made up as it wasnt being used. Basically if you are young or a student and want to crash somewhere in Prague for a short time that isnt too expensive then this is the place for you, if you plan on staying in the hotel room for and lengthy period of time I suggest booking somewhere a little bit more pricey. Amazing breakfasts though, looked forward to the breakfasts every morning!!!
