We rented an apartment room. It was quite spacious with a small kitchenette and. Nice size bathroom. Everything was up to date and clean. Make sure you check out the roof top which has a magnificent view. Very nice and helpful staff. Nice location near a large park. 15 minutes walk to old town.

Very beautiful building in a quiet location only a short walk to the river and the downtown. Off the main tourist drag but still easily accessible. The staff were all lovely--helping us with printing documents and directions and trams to take. Amazing rooftop terrace and good breakfast every morning. Overall, the hotel has anticipated every need and is very accommodating. Would definitely stay again, very good value!

3 great days in beautiful Prague with Hotel Julian as home base. Started each day with the delicious buffet breakfast and coffee just the way we Canucks like it. Had our "Happy Hour", on the roof open air bar, it's a must do! Great staff, excellent rooms!

A group of 9 of us with 9 motorcycles stayed here for 2 nights as part of an eastern European trip. Safe parking is very important to us and there was parking in the courtyard at the rear - perfect. The location is about 10/15 minutes walk along the river, and through a park to Charles Bridge and on to the old town. This walk seemed safe at night but probably best not done alone.

The hotel is very elegant with a lovely foyer with antiques and artifacts around the area. Rooms were air conditioned, spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and was plenty for even 9 big bikers guys. The restaurant downstairs was very quiet, but maybe this was because it was a Tuesday night.

Both girls (on different shifts) on the reception desk spoke excellent English, were very friendly, welcoming and efficient - nothing was a problem.

We always hire Segways to tour about on, and the initial rate at the hotel was 78 euro pp for 2 hours, we got this down to a (best rate) 68 euro pp as we were a group.

We declined, and eventually got a 2 hour guided tour for 40 euro pp in the old town square.

Would definitely recommend Hotel Julian and would stay there again.

Room Tip: Hire a Segway in the square for the best value

Dear motorbikers,

thank you for choosing our hotel as a part of your big journey! We are please you found a good shelter for your bikes at our hotel. Our parking is situated in the court of the building and only the reception can open the gate to let clients in - a would say enough safe place for motorbikes and cars. Places at the parking are limited, so we advice to reserve the parking place in advance.

I hope you will enjoy other places in Europe as well as Prague. I wish you safe journey and many and many happy kilometres on you motorbikes!

Kind regards

My wife and I just returned from two weeks in Europe and the highlight of our four city trip was the beautiful city of Prague. Can't say enough good things about Prague.

We selected the Hotel Julian after extensive research (which I have time to do since I am retired). Our best source of information on hotels was tripadvisor which had numerous glowing recommendations on Hotel Julian. Believe what they say.

Let me start with the location. Hotel Julian is located in a quiet area of Prague with no other hotels in the vicinity but it is in easy walking distance of all the major sites, restaurants, and the tram. If you love to walk, like we do, this location is superb. There is even a Tesco supermarket 5-10 minutes away.

We asked for and received a room in the front of the building. We sleep with the windows open and found there was little noise other than the occasional reveler following a World Cup game. The room was spacious and well appointed and the price was reasonable. (Let me add here that Prague is a very reasonably priced city when compared to others in Europe.)

But the best thing about Hotel Julian was the staff. Everyone there treats you like family and makes you feel so welcome. Tereza (hope my spelling is correct) was absolutely wonderful. She provided us with good restaurant recommendations, helped us navigate the tram, and even taught us a Czech word or two. No matter what issue we had, she resolved it and always had a beautiful smile along with the answer.

We definitely plan to return to Prague and the Hotel Julian will be our home.

This hotel is amazing! The staff are the nicest I've ever come across. They were always more than happy to help with anything; directions, food recommendations etc. The rooms themselves are large and very clean. They have all the features you need for a great stay including a tv, warm blankets, tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast is also wonderful; so much variety and all so delicious. The hotel also has a lovely resturant which has the best goulash I've ever had!

Located only a short walk to the main city centre (about 10min) I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Prague.
