“Almost center, almost perfect”
Reviewed 10 August 2014

This hotel is at a pretty good location, center is reachable on foot, so I'd definitely recommend it for people who want to be close to the center, but instead of spending more money on the hotel, want to spend that on beer ;).
Rooms were clean and spacious, we did enjoy our stay. Breakfast might have been a bit better organized, but all in all everything was just fine. I'd stay there again if visiting Prague next time.

We had a discount to stay at Hotel Arbes, so only stayed two days though I wished it was longer! We had a room on the fourth floor so had the slanted ceiling which was nice and unique. The room is great, has a mini fridge so you can store your own drinks (though it is also stocked if that is your thing) and a great washroom with hot water. The included breakfast is more than just coffee and bread. There is cereal, granola, yogurt, meats, cheeses, pastries...it was a nice surprise! The only negative was that the safe in the room didn't work. Otherwise I would recommend the place!

Room Tip: If you want a unique room, ask for the 4th floor (also it is furtherest away from street noise)

We stayed at hotel arbes in April of 2014 the hotel was conveniently located for us and is very close to a shopping centre which is open till late and is also just a small walk from Charles bridge. It was very clean and the staff were also very helpful.

Simple but clean and comfortable hotel just 10 minutes walk from the busy tourist area (and expensive hotels). The staff is very friendly and ready to help. The rooms are small , however not excessively. As I paid less than 50 Euro, it was an excellent choice. The room has a fridge as well as coffee set, with complimentary thee and coffee choice restocked every day. The bathroom has a bath/shower. Excellent location, not far from the Kampa island and 5 minutes walk from the Andel underground station. Tram is at 100 m from the hotel. Huge shopping centre (Tesco) is at some 500 m (interesting to know that is built on a location of a former wagons and trams factory). The breakfast is too standard and limited (no possibility to get scrambled eggs, omelette or sausages or bacon) but fair considering the price.

The staff at the hotel in the reception were racist and were really unpleasant. They kicked out my guest which was staying with me in the lobby as well as that the receptionist had very bad manners and attitude when asking anything. The electricity also turned off in my advice it's a good price but very terrible service and hotel.

Great budget hotel which is strategically located near Old Town, that is you don't mind taking one tram ride. The rooms are small and not much of a view, but this is Prague where one should really step out and get amazed with literally everything!
