This is a fantastic hotel with excellent facilities e.g. spa, laptop in the room. the staff couldnt do enough for us, especially Veronique on reception who mad us feel very welcome, pointed us in the right direction and even sourced a Segway tour for us. The hotel was cool and the decor was retro and funky and in a great location - 10 mins from Charles Bridge and 15 mins from castle. Cant wait to go back!

We spent 3 days in Prague and enjoyed the hotel so much. The staff couldnt have done more to help, they were so friendly. The spa and sauna was lovely, we can highly recommend it. Breakfast was also great, food quality and service was of a very high standard. The location is lovely, a little set back from the main tourist hotels, its lovely and quiet. We would definitely go back.

I travelled to Prague with my boyfriend in May of 2011. We had a great time in the city and were not disappointed by the hotel. It is a funky and cool place. The decor is very exclectic and quite enjoyable.

The hotel is quite small, but this makes it charming. It is located on a quiet street, but close to everything. It was a nice escape from the very congested streets of Prague. There is free wifi throughout the hotel, as well as a laptop computer in each room. I had never seen this before, but it was a nice touch!

The rooms are ok in size. However, the airconditioning system is very old, with a pipe running from the window through a dehumidifier system. This arrangement was also quite loud, so we opted for opening the windows instead.

Breakfast is quite varied and comes with a cooked to order meal in addition to buffet items.

We would certainly come back to this hotel if we booked it at the right price.

Loved our stay in this hotel. The decor is really cool - think Austen Powers meets an Apple Designer an you get the picture. The staff were really nice and helpful. While we were out most days and couldn't enjoy the complimentary afternoon tea, we did have it on the first day and it was a lovely. Breakfasts also were great. Two minor negatives (but only minor!)- the bathroom was a little dated and for some reason there were 2 single duvets on the Kind bed. Overall this hotel represents excellent value for money and is an easy walk to all the main attractions. Madeline Albright must have enjoyed her stay too as there is a framed thank you note on the wall in the reception.

I recently visited this hotel on a business trip in the area. I stayed a total of 9 nights. In overall, this hotel is nice. It is located at a quiet yet convenient spot, close to the US Embassy. You can find numerous restaurants/pubs and bars in the vicinity (there must be more than 30 places in a 10-minute walk radius) and you can easily walk to the old town (it's appr. 2km distance).

What gained my attention in this hotel when looking for accommodation in Prague was that the rooms were quite spacious and that it had a gym. Indeed, the rooms were comfortable. The hotel design was a bit "too vintage" for my taste, but this shouldn't be a surprise, given the hotel's name.

Rooms were clean and the hotel staff was helpful. Breakfast was basic. Upon request, one could have some additional dishes like omelet, scrambled eggs or pancakes. However, only one of the waiters I met during my stay informed me about this option, providing the menu. And I kind of feel like this was intentional.. In the afternoon, the bar was open serving free coffee, tea and some snacks. However, it closed early. I don't think they serve dinner at all.

My only complaint about the hotel is related to the fee charged for the use of the gym. 10€/24h for using a dusty place I think was too much. Maybe 10€ per stay would be more reasonable.

In overall, I would stay again in this hotel and I would recommend it to a friend or colleague visiting Prague.
