Very good location near the center, very good three-star hotel.
A bit noisy during night.
Parking at the hotel is expensive; there is no free parking near the hotel (because of its location in the historical center).

We really enjoyed our holiday in Prague and were pleased with the location and service of the hotel. it is not far at all from Charles Bridge and everything was in walking distance. As it was quite warm, our only trouble was how warm our room was and we had to leave the windows open all night as the room was not air-conditioned.

The real attraction of this hotel is its location. It is on the castle side of the river, and is walking distance to the Charles bridge and castle. There are also good pubs and restaurants nearby. On the first night we ate authentic schnitzel for dinner. The main town square on the other side of the river is also walking distance.

The rooms in the hotel are small, but relatively clean, as was the bathroom. Small shower stall, but clean bathroom. No air conditioning here, and noisey street outside, so if you are a light sleeper this may not be for you during the summer months.

Free wifi worked well and free buffet breakfast before 10am was about as good as can be expected for such things.

The hotel itself is pretty old and has some cool or "charming" features that couples may enjoy: huge tall front doors, wrought iron gate to go through to access stairs, old chandeliers and art in the lobby area, old style "lift" with hinge door.

Front desk staff were also polite and helpful.

Overall, this is a solid place to stay, however if it was hot (we were here during an unusual cold spell in July, around 15 degrees celcius) the no A/C could be an issue. Nonetheless, I recommend it.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. Lovely old fashioned hotel with beautiful bathrooms. The breakfast was excellent and the staff was very helpful. It is near the center of town; walking distance from Charles bridge. We would definitely recommend it and we hope to come back to Prague again; as it is a truly magical city.

We went to Prague by car and the Hotel reserved a parking for our car.
The Hotel was nice and comfortable with a big bathroom and a beautifully furnished room.
Breakfast was really good also. The situation of the hotel is really one of the best!
You can go on foot nearly everywhere. It is 400 meters of the Charles Bridge near Kampa Island and Petrin Hill. If you want to get to the old town you only have to cross Charles Bridge. We had a great holiday and good weather. Beer and traditional food are fine!

We enjoyed it very much. Excellent location (on foot you can arrive any of best places in Prague), very good breakfast and good attention.
Only issue is parking fees.. They offer a safe parking in other hotel (2 blocks from it) but daily costs are very high .... Euro 18 per day, in spite that they announce as reference that parking costs EU 5 daily

We were two couples on a biketrip from Hamburg with final destination in Prague. Booked this hotel at the touristinformation the same day as we arrived. Biked across the river and entered the hotel. There the staff was surprised! Something had gone wrong with the bookingsystem - so we were not expected! But, the staff still managed to find two roomes, and we were happy. Then the next challenge for the staff: "Where can we place the bikes?" At first we were told to put them in the luggage room and in a hallway to a storage room. Not very satifsying for us nor for the hotel! I must admit that I sneeked futrher in to the storage room and discovered a besement with plenty of empty space! The staff were again positive to our suggestion - and after that we placed our bikes easily and safely in the basement! Thank you! Wonderful to be able to stay at a hotel in the middle of everything with bikes!
The rooms were cosy and clean! The breakfast room had a very nice and special furnishment! The location was very good for exploring the city with or without bikes!
Only one negative remark: We had free internet in the rooms (Which was good ofcourse), but if we wanted to borrow the computer in the public area we had to pay for it!)
