Hotel Pod Vezi is ideally located near the famous Charles bridge and you’re really in the center of Prague to visit this magic town. We have spent a marvelous moment in this hotel : It is very quiet during the night, rooms are very clean and confortable and the restaurant offers varied and delicious dishes without forgetting a good local cocktail and some subtle Czech wines.

Thank you very much to the manager of this hotel and his excellent team. Everybody is really here to facilitate your stay. Actually, if you go to Prague, this is for sure the place to be !!

The hotels location is right on the Charles Bridge. It is in the middel of everything important in Prague. When you look at it from the brige late at night, it`s like you are standing fairytale. The people at the hotell are friendly and very helpfull. The hotell resturant is also very nice with great czech food. The rooms are spaceious.

The hotel is in the "Little Quarter" at the foot of the Charles Bridge beside the Tourist Information centre. We received a free upgrade on arrival and the room was well furnished with plenty of chairs - not always the case. A quick look in another room showed a similar standard.
Breakfast was a well stocked and re-plensished buffet but staff were always on hand. The reception staff were happy to help with any enquiry but did not try to push particular tours or events - we ended up booking direct but it was our choice.
For a well appointed hotel in a perfect location for exploring the centre of Prague this would be hard to beat.

This hotel is so well situated that my friend and I spent six days there without taking public transport anywhere. The restaurant is very good and adiscunt was given for eating there. The main courses were substantial , fine but not very suitable for vegetarians.
We had a de uxe room with desk, settee, armchairs and TV so plenty of room for two people.
The reception staff were extremely helpful. A taxi was arranged for transport to and from the airport.

Nice, small clean, intimate and a bit "retrò" style hotel, where you can feel a person more than a number. It's located right next to the famous Carlo's bridge: from my window I could see a corner of the bridge. The great thing is that, although in such a central location, the hotel faces on a small, characteristic and silent square, which is also very fashinating to watch from your room, expecially by night. From there I could reach every place by feet without taking any tram or metro. Hotel staff is super, and I want to mention in particular Ms. Eva and the nice Martin, both of them highly professional and kind; they helped me booking tickets for concerts and guided tours and were always concerned about my stay. English and German are perfectly spoken. What's more, there was such a good continental breakfast that I never needed to have lunch!
Absolutely suggested expecially to couples and groups of adults or single travellers like me (but NOT if you are interested in 300 rooms-fabrics with spa, swimming pool and stuff like that).

An excellent hotel in a great location at the foot of Charles Bridge and quiet. Taxi service from airport and return is perfectly arranged.
Large, nicely furnished room with nice bathroom, all clean.
Slight problem: no possibility to make tea / coffee in the room (maybe to protect the device?)
Also we did not sleep so well by the street noise, but that was logical at this spot, and also because the two, large casement windows that were stand wide open...
An excellent breakfast and friendly service minded staff.
A wonderful, charming hotel and an absolute must for anyone visiting Prague.

From the minute we pulled up outside the hotel we knew we were in for a treat. The hotel position is just at the end of Charles Bridge, right beside the tower. We had arranged for the hotel to send a taxi to the Airport to pick us up, as we know from past experience you can get ripped off by the airport taxis.

The check in was very quick and the reception manager, Eva, had everything ready for us, even though we arrived early arriving. She spoke very good English and gave us a map and leaflets showing various tours (which she offered to arranged direct for us).

We had a double deluxe room on the first floor (No. 11) - it was exceptional. The room was huge - it had a large bed (very comfy) with table and chairs, t.v. and minibar, with a separate, divided section with wardrobe, writing desk and safe. The bathroom was clean and bright, with everything you need. The room had four windows, two of which looked over to Charles Bridge and the other two to the tower.

To say the hotel had a very good location in the heart of the Old Town it was very quiet on an evening and didnt here a thing at night.

The restaurant was fabulous. We booked breakfast which was great, continental cold meats as well as hot food - with plenty of room in the restaurant area. We ate in the restaurant on an evening and at lunch time. The food was out of this world - the steak is honesty the best I have ever tasted and the pork knuckle is a must. (You also get 15% discount at the restaurant if you are a guest at the hotel).

All in all the hotel was one of best we have ever stayed in. The staff couldnt do enough for you, and the location - you couldnt ask for anywhere better. This is somewhere we will definitely going back to.
