Every year we go to this hotel for a week for our lace designing and workshop.
It is an extremely comfortable hotel where the staff make you very welcome and will try and help with any of your queries.
It is a pleasure each year to be greeted by the same staff who remember you and your wishes.
The hotel is in a prime position and therefore good value for money.
Thank you again

Just back from Prague - the Hotel Atlantic was pleasant enough and very near the old square etc as has been mentioned by other reviewers. We also experienced the very noisy trams being on a first floor front bedroom - trams finish around 1am but start again pretty early. To get on the internet we also had to go into the corridors to connect.... this is where the routers were. Breakfast was fine - just don't expect anything like a full english - the 'bacon' is deliberately cold as are the hard boiled eggs. Sausage type things were warm though....

Hotel in excellent location for seeing the city and is adequate enough for a few nights.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms at the front if you might be disturbed by noisy trams

This hotel is located just outside the Old Town of Prague. It is a nice hotel with comfortable rooms, a decent breakfast and a good cocktail bar. The staff are helpful too. Would happily stay here again.

We stayed for a couple of days in this hotel and never regretted the choice. Convenient 4 floor hotel, quite near down town (walking distance), near the underground and trolleys.
Even a car park behind the hotel at convience.
Rich breakfast menu, but most of all: a kind reception which helped us out in ordering taxis and tours in Prague.

The Hotel was situated a short walk to the Old town square which had a lot going on whilst i was there. The hotel staff were very helpful with any enquiries i had regarding where to go ect.
There were lots of bars and restaurants within a short walking distance. The breakfast was varied and overall a great choice of items. The room was suprisingly large with 2 twin beds pushed together. If i return to Prague which i hope to do then i would stay at the Atlantic hotel again.

Room Tip: rooms at the front can be a little noisy with the window open

I'll start with the positive. Hotel Atlantic had large rooms and it was in an excellent location. Just a quick walk to old town and an even faster walk to the subway. we rode the subway to and from the airport. There was a subway stop only yards from the hotel. There was a gigantic shopping mall just up the road from the hotel which had all the shops you could ever need. The staff was friendly enough and helped us get around.

Now for the negative. They tried a bit to hard to get me to buy into the guided tour folks. I would ask how to get to a specific attraction and instead of telling me how to get there they would give me a pricing book from a tour company. Our room was on the 3rd floor and the noise at night was ridiculous. There was a tram that passed by the hotel every half hour or so and it sounded like an earthquake. I had to wear earplugs at night just to stay asleep. The free breakfast was by far the most disappointing. We tried it the first day and honestly it was inedible. Maybe this is what Czechs eat for breakfast but I was not a fan. They had free wifi but in the room we stayed there was no reception. to use the internet I had to be on the floor next to the door or be out in the hallway. I'm sure we looked strange out in the hallway calling home on Skype. I went to complain to the front desk hoping for a room change but all they said was that they'd send someone up to adjust the antenna. I couldn't speak to whether or not they actually sent someone to adjust the signal but I didn't see any improvement. Was the hotel okay? sure. Would I stay here again? Not a chance.

Room Tip: I'm sure the higher the room the less you'll hear the trams at night. I'd ask for a room...

Hotel Atlantic is warm and comfortable. Our two single rooms were spacious and well equipped. The housekeeping is very good. We were in Prague when flooding seemed likely and a state of emergency declared. We found the staff very helpful in these circumstances. The location is excellent for all the landmarks.
