Me and my boyfriend stayed for 3 nights at hotel Venezia. Sadly was the first night in a small, dirty and noisy room. After some talking with the staff we stayed the last 2 nights in a nice and big room. Both of the rooms were dirty! Also the wifi is only in the receptionroom.

Well this is not only yet another one cheap Prague hotel serving overpriced breakfast consisting of cheapest ingredients and very, very lousy coffee. This one is exceptionally dirty with worn out interior and old small TV (no fridge, no mini bar). The toilet made strange noises. I would never recommend this stay nor stay here for another time. On the other hand the stuff was very polite and friendly.

Room Tip: I doubt there is a good room.

Not worth a penny to stay in this place. Not a hotel. Worse than a hostel. Room was horrific. Walking through corridors to get to room passing by offices and different strange 'rooms'. Dusty smelly air as soon as you enter the hotel and continues right up to your room. Doors to our room cracked and so light that when another door closed on our floor our door made such a racket we woke up every time it happened throughout the night. Carpet stained and curtains ripped. Extremely noisy at night barely slept! Worst thing about this 'hotel' was the bathroom.. Toilet didnt flush much and when it did a noise as loud as thunder went on for 5 minutes after. Soon realised the toilet wasnt a working correct toilet and instead on flushing the contents were sucked into a bucket type container!!! Enough to make stomachs turn!! Only stayed for two nights and i would NEVER EVER stay again. Location also not great! Highly recommend to stay closer to the old town in a much nicer hotel (wouldnt be hard to find a nicer one than this)!

I know we paid cheap for it but this hotel is genuinely not worth anything with a shower covered in brown gathered dirt and a smell that made you wretch!!

Where does one start?
1/. DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE
2/. CHECK THE ROOM OUT BEFORE YOU BOOK IN
3/. INSIST ON AIR CONDITIONING (There is none) Temperature over 30C Not comfortable
4/. VERY NOISY EVEN WITH DOUBLE GLAZING
5/. PROMISED CHAMPAGNE NEVER EVENTUATED
6/. EMPTY FRIDGE
7/. NO DRINKING WATER AVAILABLE

We could not take more than one night even though we had paid for 4 nights in advance. The temp was over 32c and not even a fan to help so we had to have the windows open all night to cool down. The noise from the traffic was horrendous. The room was very clinical and reminded us of a hospital room. We realise that we were looking for cheap accommodation and we hit the jackpot! Our standards could not reach such a low level. A lesson learned check it out first before parting with your money. The TV and WIFI were disappointing. The receptionist was very polite

Room Tip: ask for a/c away from street side

We decided to stay here because of the hotels location and it's excellent price. We weren't let down on either. Yes, it's basic. But the beds are comfy, the room service is good and the receptionists are friendly. It's perfect for a budget stay in Prague. We walked pretty much everywhere from here! It's easy if you're up for it. We even walked to the castle and back.

Good location, amazing value.
