We have just arrived back from a trip to Prague and stayed at the Green Garden Hotel for four nights. We had an amazing time and can't thank the staff enough for making us so welcome. Before travelling to Prague, I contacted the Hotel and asked them for a room on a high floor and if they could arrange for a taxi from the airport, which they did. We were made very welcome on checking in and as it was late took ours things to the room and had a drink at the bar. The next morning we had a buffet-style breakfast and there was a large selection of food including cereals, fruit, sausage, eggs and bacon, plus bread, cheese and cold meats. We also had an evening meal at the hotel which was excellent value and delicious (We had the fillet steak). We inquired at reception about sightseeing in the City and Daniela advised an all-inclusive sightseeing trip of Prague. This included a guided tour of the sights including the castle, old town square and many other attractions. Lunch and a boat trip were also included. The tour was informative and interesting and gave us an insight to all the major attractions. During our stay at the hotel, we found all of the staff courteous, friendly and very efficient at their jobs - nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was situated 10-15 minutes walk away from Wencelas Square and the Old Town was a few minutes away from there. During our stay we walked everywhere although there is a tram and metro system (can't tell you much about them as not used). Overall, we had an excellent trip. We loved Prague and our experience was made even more special by staying in a great hotel with brilliant staff. I thoroughly recommend a trip to Prague and would definitely stay at the Green Garden Hotel again if I were to return.
