Dear Guest,

Thank you for your notes regarding your stay at the Panorama Hotel Prague.
We are very pleased to read that you have enjoyed our hotel.

As for the parking this is indeed not offered for free, yet is highly recommended given the unfortunate reality that cars parked on public streets may “disappear” overnight.
The hotel parking is staffed and guarded 24-hours daily.

Should the fee charged be over your budget than we can recommend an alternative garage which is located ca. 100 meters from the hotel, offered at a lower rate yet closed at night.

With kind regards,
Raoul Gransier

We had a good time in prague and the hotel kept our trip pleasent and fun. The standard breakfest includes hot dishes like baked potatoes and sausages, as well as salads, selection of cheese and salami. We couldn't ask for anything else for our breakfest (but if you're unlike us, you could upgrade your breakfest for about 2 Euros with an omlette etc.). The rooms were very comfortable and clean everyday. We actually slept better than we do at home. One feature I really liked about the room was a speaker located in the bathroom which was connected to the room's TV. I had a couple of long baths with '80 pop music turned on and it was lovely. The top deck wellness & fitness located on the 24th floor offers a swimming pool, a jacuzzi (which has a nice view of Prague), nice saunas and a gym. we had to pay 290Kc for an hour, but we didn't need more time anyway. The hotel is a short walk from the Arkady Pankrac shopping center (which even has a cheap supermarket in it), a bank which offers currency exchange (although not recommended) and the Pankrac metro station which is 4 stations away from the city center. Not many restaurants around the hotel and no pubs at all. If you don't mind having to travel by metro every day to get to where all the action is, and you prefer a quiet location, this hotel would be a good choice.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your nice comments, regarding your stay at the Panorama Hotel Prague.

Reading through your posting we are pleased that you have enjoyed your stay.

For future trips to Prague please check out the hotel website, which will feature a unique rate plan from 25 October 2010 including almost all services you can imagine, from Block-Buster Movies, the mini-bar to free daily breakfast.

Also, please do speak with our reception when back in Prague who can recommend to you a number of nice pubs, serving typical Czech beer and cuisine, all near to the hotel.

Alternatively, our Chef de Cuisine Mr Milos Rozkosny would be delighted to welcome you to his restaurant “MEZZO” which features a culinary calendar. This month Milos offers a number of specialties’ prepared with freshly picked mushrooms.

Our soon to be launched new website will feature all themes of the Culinary Calendar, which we all hope to be yet again another reason to stay at the Panorama Hotel Prague.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your kind words regarding your stay at the Panorama Hotel Prague.

We are very happy that you have enjoyed your stay.

Please take note that from October 25th, 2010, pending proper transition on all internet booking engines through which our hotel can be booked, the hotel will seize to offer so called Executive Rooms.

Instead, we will be offering only Superior and Business rooms, while the services included depend on the rate plan you will book.

Backed by a number of investments we will improve our offering, while guests can choose themselves if they wish for “no-frills” or the full deal. At any rate, whatever rate you book you can be assured that the Panorama lives up to its reputation to be Prague’s best value business hotel.

We went to Prague last Autumn-- Had the perfect holiday, and loved the hotel--

There was a nice Pool on the top floor with a PERFECT view over Prague Castle--
I think it was a high price to use the Spa centre-- but worth it the day we tried=)

The hotel was located a little far from city centre, but the metro stop was located just a two-minutes-walk from the hotel so it wasn't a problem-- We did also walk to the Old Town.. It took us maybe 30minutes??

The next door shopping centre did offer many places to eat so we didn't try the expansive hotel restaurant--

I would REALLY like to go back there someday--

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your nice review regarding your stay at our hotel.

We are very pleased to note that you have enjoyed our hotel, and its panoramic view.
Please allow me, however, to set another light to some of your comments made.

The hotel has an aggressive room rate sales strategy, making sure always to offer the best daily rate on the market for a superior first class hotel. Rooms can be booked from as little as EUR 47.00, including breakfast and tax.

Yet, the restaurant and spa services the hotel provides come at fixed rates, and do not vary by the day. Please appreciate that running a restaurant and a spa involve considerable cost, in labor, overheads and must yield a profit as well. I can assure you that compared to other destinations such as Paris, Rome and Amsterdam our services are moderately priced and quite affordable.

However, when you have managed to book a room rate as low as EUR 47.00, in comparison other services may then seem to be more expensive.

We encourage our guests to enjoy the culinary pleasures offered in our restaurant MEZZO, which are of high quality prepared with care and attention. The hotel restaurant is the only restaurant in the district in which the hotel is located offering a gastronomic offering of high quality, yet priced very reasonably when compared to inner-city restaurants also offering a la carte service.

For a tasty snack or sandwich, which is a completely different type of product and service the nearby food-court in the opposite shopping centre is an excellent alternative at indeed very affordable prices.

We do hope you will return to Prague, and stay at our hotel. If so, please give our restaurant a try. You will be pleasantly surprised!

Best regards,

Dear Guest,

Thank you very much for your kind comments, following your stay at the Panorama Hotel Prague

Our bar in our lobby area is indeed a bit of a hot spot, very popular with the locals during the day for business meetings while hotel guests meet in the evening for drinks.

Our bar staff are of a rare breed not found often these days – professional, courteous and assertive. I am delighted to have them on my team and will share your comments with them.

We visited Prague last year with my wife and an other family couple and stayed to this big comfortable hotel. We were lucky to have a rooms at the higher levels and the view of the city was amazing. On the last floor there is a swimming pool, solarium, spa and fitness center. My wife spent some time there enjoying the swimming pool, the jacuzzi and the solarium overlooking the old city.
The rooms are big, clean and comfortable and the bathroom is well equipped having even hair dryer and bathtub. For breakfast there was an amazing variety of things to choose from even if you enjoy a salty or sweet one.
The staff was really friendly and helpful and most importantly all of them spoke English so communication was really easy.
Right next to the hotel there is a big shopping mall where you can find anything you may need. Also very close is the metro station wich we had to use very often to get easily to the old town. That makes transportation more than easy.
Finally there is an interesting relaxing lobby bar where we were relaxing at night after the long walks around the city.

Dear Guest,

Thank you very much for your kind review regarding your stay at the Panorama Hotel Prague, while on holiday in Prague.

We are very happy to read that you have enjoyed your stay.

Once again I take note that guests book a family holiday when travelling to Prague, and choose the Panorama Hotel Prague for accommodation. We are seeing more and more families taking their children to Prague, to enjoy the good food, beautiful architecture (Prague is like an open-air museum) and the rich and vast heritage the Czech Republic has to offer. Recent history has shown occupation by the Habsburgs, Germans and Russians – you can imagine the excitement which can be felt in a country emerging from occupation to become a young republic. It’s something quite special, and one of the attractions tourists visits the Czech Republic.

Since your stay in last year we have introduced a new room type, “Family Suites”, which are 2 connecting rooms sold for the price of 1 room. It makes a difference to stay at a hotel with family, when each have its own comfy bed and enough space allows for privacy and a good sleep after enjoying all the pleasures Prague has to offer.

Should you come back to Prague I recommend you to visit the hotel website, on which this room type is featured.

Dear Guest,

Prague is not only known as the “Golden City”, it is also a destination with a rich heritage in the arts – naturally we appreciate guests who enhance their and other guests stay with live music.

I have taken note that you have travelled with your family, and trust that you have enjoyed the complimentary bedding and upgrade to a Family Suite we provide for accompanying children. This can be booked on the hotel website, only.

Should you travel to Prague in the future we would be delighted to welcome you back!
