“Comfortable rooms, unsure about breakfast”
Reviewed 10 February 2014 via mobile

The rooms were spacious and well presented with comfortable beds. Breakfast was a bit strange, sausage eggs with mixed veg. But it must cater for all regions of Europe. The bar could have been open during the day, as we were turned down coffee as the bar was closed! For the purpose of an inexpensive weekend with the lads I would recommend, but not with the wife!

We organised our corporate Christmas party here last weekend and cannot thank the hotel enough. They made the whole process simple from quote to booking to arrival to food, drink & party - they were brilliant!

Karolina the Events Manager was brilliant, she helped co-ordinate people from 3 different countries arriving to the hotel, with transfers to & from the hotel to the airport, check-in for those arriving late night to the conference on the Saturday and the buffet meal and disco in the evening.

If you are looking to a good hotel, which is close to town (around 20 min walk) and has great rooms (highly recommend upgrading to a superior room).

Only small issues would be that the showers get everything wet in the whole bathroom! and the window looks straight into the flats across the road, but for the money - I couldn't complain!

Room Tip: Definitely worth upgrading to a superior room.

I was surprised when i landed at this place. It was designed in old colonial style from outside but inside was posh. Rooms were spacious and well heated. Clean and well maintained. Breakfast included was an added brownie point. Location was also perfect. Centrally located and easily accessible. 4 star facilities at very affordable price.

After reading some of the negative reviews on here I was expecting the worst and have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The reception area was bright and comfortable. The receptionists were helpful and spoke good English. The room was extremely large, airy and clean with a separate table to sit at as well as a table with a telephone and television. The bathroom and WC were separate. There were various options for breakfast including a variety of hot and cold food as well as cereals, yoghurts and bread. The Hotel was very quiet with good tram connections to the city. We stayed here for 4 nights and would definately stay again if visiting Prague

This hotel is okay, we don't spend much time in our hotels while away which was fortunate as there are no real amenities to speak of. The breakfast again was okay and the actual rooms were clean and adequate. The only reason why I gave this 3 stars was really the attitude of some of the desk staff. Two female staff who served me in the small bar really made me feel like I was just being a pain even though I just wanted coffee but customer service in Prague in general really isn't all that. I would not stay in this hotel again.

We stayed three nights and were in the annexed part of the hotel. The reception of the hotel is modern and bright and lovely and clean and the garden area is a really nice touch and a lovely place to chill out both night and day. Breakfast was the best I have had in Prague by far, a good selection and the atmosphere was very laid back and though it wasnt a large restaurant there were no issues in getting a table. The room in the annex wasnt as expected and didnt suit the rest of the public areas of the hotel at all, it was very basic indeed but on saying that it was extremely clean and the beds were comfy enough. The couple of problems that we encountered like there was no hot water for example were sorted out pretty much straight away. I would recommend getting the 'taxi' service from the hotel so as not to get ripped off by the other taxi services available. All in all a great stay! :-)

We stayed for four nights, and arrived early, this did not present a problem and we were in our room within minutes. Room was large and roomy with all the usual facilities. Our stay also included breakfast and there was a range of fruit cereal yogurt to start. Eggs fried or boiled sausages and usually a choice of vegetables. Different breads rolls etc with butter jam ham and cheese. Then plenty of tea or coffee. While we were having breakfast our room was cleaned and serviced everyday. This might only be a three star hotel but I give it five for service.
