I ran an event at this hotel and it was superb. The staff were friendly and helpful, the decor of the hotel is lovely and it is super clean. Great breakfasts but I think the lunches could be better (only applies if you are running a conference here).

it's about 20-30 minutes to walk up to the charles bridge, but the tram would get you there in about 5 minutes. It's also next to a huge shopping centre which has a tesco and a million other shops in it, quite useful.

Good, quick service; room service good. No WIfi in the room, cable connection quick, but you have to pay for it; Airport Shuttle service good; no coffee maker in the room

There aren't many contemporary hotels in Prague but this was one we found and - after reading some good reviews on TripAdvisor - we booked it. It was clean, modern and friendly. We booked a slightly upgraded room and were glad of the extra space (double height room etc). Slightly cold and stark but nothing that would put me off staying there again. Breakfast was good. Bar slightly lacking in 'soul'.

I was attending to 3 day conference held in this hotel. Hotel is located next to big shopping mall about 2-3 km's from old town and Charles bridge. There's multiple tram lines and subway station close to hotel and you can get to centre in 10 minutes. Room at 2nd floor was modern and had enough space. Room had whole wall window giving to walking street and opposite office building. WLAN was free but signal was very weak in room. There was LAN connection with extra charge. Only downside in room was that there was no warm water at last morning. Cold shower really woke up :) Breakfast and lunch had plenty to choose from and very good. Some of the meeting rooms had no windows and tables were small but otherwise ok. Overall I'd say this is standard 4 star hotel. Nothing missing but nothing special. Good for business and shopping bit too far from sights for short break.

Dear guest,

Thank you for choosing the andel´s Hotel Prague and your time to share your experience with other travellers.

It is our utmost concern to apologize for the lack of hot water one morning. Unfortunately, this was due to a short interruption of the heating system outside the hotel on which we had no influence upon. Regarding your remark on the internet connection, we would like to inform you, that we are working on an improved connection.

We hope that your future travel plans will continue to include the andel´s hotel Prague.

Sincerely Yours

Roman Straub

This was my second business trip to Prague this year, and I was happy to be away from the swarms of tourists and "old town charm", and into an architecturally simple and functional hotel. The location is right on the metro (all-day ticket sold at the reception for just 110 Czech korunas)and there is underground parking in the same building. No ATM in the hotel but a bank with bankomat just next door. Front desk staff was helpful with all inquiries. Dining room staff was pleasant and attentive. I had a suite which was spacious, comfortable and quiet. Wired internet worked fine, pricey if not included in your rate (375 korunas per day). There were flat-screen TVs in bedroom and living room, and both a tub and a shower. The towels were thick and soft. I might have wished for a few more drinking glasses in the kitchenette, and some plates and silverware, but perhaps I could have asked the concierge. Breakfast was more than ample, with pots of coffee already on the tables, and a wide selection of hot and cold food, including many items catering to the Asian tourist groups which unfortunately seem to swarm into breakfast together in large numbers just at half past six. There was always plenty on the buffet, however, and never a wait for a table. There is a commercial fitness center/gym usable by hotel guests, but it does not open until seven and closes at 10, making access a challenge for the business traveler with early meetings and late dinners. I wish breakfast and fitness were available a bit earlier, from 0600. However these are minor quibbles and all in all, I highly recommend this hotel for business travel, or for tourism for those who don't mind a short commute to the sights.
