This is simply the best boutique hotel I have ever visited. Everything about this hotel was top-notch. The tour at beginning of our stay that culminated in a cocktail at the Terrace restaurant overlooking the city was well done. Every detail was accounted for in the renovation of the rooms. The heated tile floor in the bathroom was a nice touch. My girlfriend loved the pillow selection, the high quality desserts left at our bedside each evening, the champagne/wine/desserts every day at 4pm in the anteroom downstairs etc... I particularly like the attention to detail that staff seem to possess. For one, we purchased some souvenir mugs to drink hot wine at the Christmas market. We threw them in a plastic bag and in the corner of the room. When we went to pack them we noticed the staff had seen this laying there and covered them both in bubble wrap for us. Nice... They asked us if we wanted a bath drawn for us on our return from being out.. Nice... We both wanted to go to the gym and they sent us to a very high quality one in their larger sister hotel down the street. When we got there, they knew we were coming because they called ahead.. Nice.. Most importantly, we went to Celeste restaurant (XXX) where my girlfriend got food poisoning. On return to the hotel, we made the decision to take her to a hospital and the staff handled everything wonderfully in making sure we were okay. As you can imagine that was a chaotic situation - Taxi, map, directions, and taxi driver knew where to go to the closest hospital where everything turned out great. Stanislav in particular did everything well - service was great. To top it off Celeste kept my credit card. We were leaving the next day so I couldn't retrieve it. Golden Well retrieved the card and overnighted it to me. NICE..... My only complaint is that the Golden Well didn't insist that we not eat at Celeste and eat at their restaurant on Saturday night... :)
