This hotel is just a short walk from Old Town and Charles Bridge, the main tourist hubs of Prague. I was very pleased with my room with it's exposed beams and modern floors and bathroom fixtures. The hotel service is excellent and a satisfactory breakfast is offered every morning included in the cost of the room.

I liked being near to the center of all the activity without being completely in the middle of it all. It was very easy to stop by the hotel throughout the day to rest or drop off my purchases. There is no wireless internet, but there is a computer in the lobby which is free to use. There is a lift, but if you are a non-smoker, be sure to ask for a non-smoking room. There is no room service, but for the price and location, this hotel is an excellent bargain.

I also found the hotel very easy to find on my own since I arrived at the Prague airport and used the bus and metro system to get into town. The hotel is only a five minute walk from the Narodni trida stop on the B line. You can save so much money by taking advantage of the public transport in Prague.

A great hotel and at such a bargain, book now!

This is a great choice for anyone going to Prague looking for a great location, a quiet nights rest at an affordable price. The rooms were very clean and the staff were very kind. Case in point, I arrived at the hotel after an international flight at 7AM- my check in time was not till the afternoon. The staff at the Betlem club had my room ready and let me sleep-off my jet lag during the morning. They also gave me breakfast that day when I arrived. What class! This was exceptional service- I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a safe, convenient place to stay in Prague. If I return to Prague I will stay there for sure!

I stayed in one of the attic rooms on the third floor for three nights. Tip - book at least two months in advance, as the attic rooms were the only rooms available even two and a half months prior to my visit. My room was rather small with a tiny window and the bed was rather thinly padded. However, the exposed beams and the vaulted ceilings gave it cozyness and character. The bathroom fixtures all appeared new and the room had a warm atmosphere and was generally pleasant. Breakfast is served in the basement with the usual assortment of cold cuts, juices and cereals. Sausage and scrambled egg were also served, along with yogurt. The front desk personnel were friendly and helpful in offering directions. There is one computer with free Internet access. The hotel is located in a pleasant little plaza across from the Betlem Chapel. It's only about a 10-minute walk to the Charles Bridge and about a 15 minute walk to the Astronomical Clock in the other direction. The tab came to 1800Kc/night, about $120. If you are tall and stay in one of the attic rooms, be careful if you come home after a night of heavy drinking!

The Betlem Hotel is located in a quiet location in the very crowded old town of Prague.
I stayed in an attic room - quite charming - but if you are tall: ask for another room. It will be very hard for you to shower (if not impossible)! Rooms are clean.
Unfortunately the breakfast is very simple - too simple.
The price of the Hotel is very reasonable (66 euro for the attic room).

The Betlem Club hotel is ideally located in Prague. This hotel is within walking distance of just about everything you will want to visit. For those things a bit further out, public transportation is readily available. In regards to the hotel itself, I think it is a good value in spite of a few trade-offs.

On the positive note, the hotel includes an adequate free breakfast, just a notch below that of most moderate American hotels. Rooms are clean and spacious for the most part. I was a bit disappointed that the comfort of the beds was not what I am accustomed to in more moderate/higher level American hotels. However, this is a bit more of a value hotel and that is probably not a fair comparison. One thing to definitely keep in mind is that the attic rooms have very low ceilings, making them unacceptable for someone of even moderate height. Also, the low ceiling require a trade-off of tub with handheld shower rather than a standard shower. If you are close to six feet tall, I'd suggest you insure that you do not get an attic room.

The hotel has one public computer with internet and offers wireless internet service, but the wireless was not working during my stay and the hotel staff seemed to care little about this problem. This proved to be a major annoyance, so I would recommend asking the hotel prior to arrival if the internet access has been repaired as of yet.

There are definitely nicer rooms to be had in Prague at a higher price, but this hotel does offer a nice balance of location and value.

We stayed at the hotel September 4th though the 6th 2007. The location of the hotel to Charles Bridge and the Old Town area was great. The hotel and rooms were clean. The breakfast was a good way to start your day. The free internet was a great perk. You can't beat the location. We would defiantly stay at this hotel again

Great hotel in the middle of everything. Very close to Old Town and Charles Bridge. Clean, good breakfast and a very helpful and friendly staff.

No AC, so the summer is a little hot---You have to keep the windows open, so it gets a bit noisy. Other than that, it is a terrific hotel for what you pay. Highly recommend!
