This is a quiet and charming small hotel. The reception is friendly and professional. The room is spacious and spotless. The breakfast is good and we enjoyed particularly the potatoes pancakes. We were surprised by the canadion maple syrup. We think that the coffe could be better but this is a minor issue.

I don't think you could have a more agreeable place to stay in Prague than this: quiet, close to the centre, great breakfast, pleasant and friendly staff, etc, etc. Our only problem was with the booking company easytobook.com who have abandoned small privately-run hotels like this in favour of the big chains. I'd stay here again, no doubt..

Friendly staff, good breakfast , very confortable and clean room. Everithing looks like brand new, a few minutes away from historical center but quiet enough for good sleeping. A superb restaurant (Pvarovsky ) nearby, great service food and beer.
Beware of Prague taxi drivers if you arrive by train at night. They charged me twice the fare accordingly to hotel staff.

My wife and I cannot speak highly enough of the hotel and its staff.

Upon our arrival – a little anxious as it was our first visit to Prague - we were made to feel completely at home by Michael and his staff. The friendliness of the staff was so very good. English was spoken so we had no communication problems at all. The room and facilities were excellent, such as the superb shower with galleons of hot, gushing water immediately available. The cleanliness and cleaning were exceptional and the TV service – not that we needed it – admirable with CNN and BBC World Service.

Breakfast was more than generous with the provision of a cooked light meal if wanted and an ‘in-house’ newspaper. Lots of fruit was made available, as were bowls of fruit and candy placed around the hotel at convenient points.

We liked the hotel’s decorum and ambience and we were particularly taken with the many clocks and the atrium. With our room there was the facility to walk out into a private garden area with a patio and seating pleasantly secluded.

The hotel’s position is such that it is an easy walk to the trams and all points towards Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. Wenceslas Square is a pleasant stroll from the hotel beyond Jecna Street on which there is a well-known restaurant.

Hotel 16 without a doubt made our vacation in Prague most enjoyable. We would happily ‘award’ the hotel and its staff ‘ten out of ten’ across the board. It is the only hotel in over twenty-five years of travel that we have been moved to send a postcard from our home town thanking everyone for such a great time.

Adam greeted us upon arrival and was very pleasant, helpful, and generous in trying to make us comfortable after a long flight from the US to Prague. Breakfast was wonderful every morning. My room was the smallest in the hotel, but it was also the most charming and coziest. There was always a bowl of fresh fruit in the quaint lobby awaiting the guests after a long day of sightseeing. The entire staff was very knowledgeable about the local restaurants and transportation options. I would stay here again, and again. I can't wait to return to Prague. I love this city and Hotel 16 makes it feel like home.

We selected this hotel because it had good reviews and secure parking space. Booking on the phone was a breeze. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room had high ceiling, air conditioning and was qiute spacious by European standards. Hotel is located close to the center but not on the main street. This allowed quiet sleep and also made easy access for driving rental car. Hotel has several dedicated secured parking spots nearby that can be reserved free of charge. This was very convenient and nice. Prague is great but amount of tourists is overwhelming and after a few days you would want to go outside. Renting car was a great thinhg to do but having hotel with secured (free) parking is not easy to come by. Czech is small country so even going to Cesky Krumlov is not so difficult daily trip from Prague when you have a car. Staff was very helpful in every aspect whether arranging things for us or advising on our otside trips. They had good selection of drinks at reasonable prices. Breakfast was simple but great and omelette was fantastic. Overall very happy experience with excellent attention to us. Will certainly stay there again.

One of two original hotels in this part of Prague, the owner works as one of the regular desk clerk/concierge, and sets a warm, courteous, "whatever I can do to help" tone that characterizes all their employees. Only 14 rooms, it is almost a boutique hotel, meticulously maintained and artfully decorated. Upon my arrival, they supplied a city map and carefully helped me plan my 7 day tour of Prague. They offered to bring me an afternoon tea to my room, gratis! Complimentary breakfast is an almost sumptuous spread, with tasty omelettes made to order, and good quality food. Quiet, convenient location.Modern supermarket Galleria only 10 minutes walk. 8 minutes to the main tourist drag. Gourmet restaurant one minute walk. My room was very comfortable, toiletries are adequate. Mattress was good, but very firm, which did not suit my sleep. The best part was the extraordinary front desk staff! They really enjoy people.
