We have just returned from a 4 day trip to Prague and wanted to stay in the downtown area walking distance to the Old Town. We had read good reviews of Hotel 16 and it did not disappoint. The hotel, while small is clean, bright, and has the most helpful staff. They helped us arrange for airport pickup and when we arrived, we were given several restaurant recommendations, a tram route to see Prague Castle and Old Town and general sites to see.

The breakfast buffet was comprehensive with a selection of cheese, bread, cold cuts, fruit and yogurt. We also could get capuccino and could request a hot breakfast(scrambled eggs or an omelette). Breakfast dessert included a yummy apple struesel and dollar pancakes as well as an apple cake. It was difficult not to stuff ourselves every morning.

Every question we had had was answered in detail and there was always a smile so we felt welcomed every time we returned from our day trips. At the end of our stay, we also received two coffee cups with the Hotel 16 logo and thought it was such a sweet reminder of our stay. Hotel 16 made our trip to Prague very enjoyable.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the back as it is very quiet and on the 3rd floor if possible(there are only 3...

Spent 3 nights there recently and while the location was not in the most central area, it was but a very short walk, and the hotel ambiance, the comfort, the friendly staff and the services more than made up it! It was a truly wonderful experience, in fact, it is one hotel that you wouldn't mind spending more time in! If I have to find an area for improvement though, it would be to add maybe one or two hot breakfast items to the otherwise fantastic breakfast buffet. Thanks for the lovely stay!!

Room Tip: The room I stayed on the 3rd floor had an attic feel to it. Very cozy feeling. :)

Michael and all the staff are helpful and courteous. The bedroom was immaculate and we had the advantage of an extra lounge room. The breakfast is excellent, with a wide choice that set us up for the day. The area is quiet though a 25 minute walk from the old town. Michael showed us tram routes on the map and booked us concert tickets. He was very kind and helpful in trying to trace my camera, left in a taxi.

Room Tip: Back rooms overlook a garden.

Adam and Michael, many thanks for a grand stay! The internet got us to you. You run the cleanest hotel, best breakfast bar with wonderful folk working with you. And a garden view on top of all of it. Gave us tour books and umbrellas to use, as well as a map and directions on how to see everything in just our one day stay. Also, terrific restaurant recommendations. We had tea in the garden. No problem getting around from Katerinska location

Room Tip: Get a room with the garden view!

Clean, elegant hotel with exemplary service. I understand easytobook is not promoting this place any more which is incomprehensible. I can't recommend Hotel 16 enough.

Stayed 3 nights at this hotel based on Tripadvisor reviews. The hotel is small but the staff are friendly and helpful. Room is decent and our room opens up to a small balcony outside. The breakfast is decent and you can order eggs to order and cappucino. The cost is good as well for Prague. The only drawback is that it's a long walk from Old Town (about 30 minutes walk). You could use the subway or street tram but none are very direct and the neighborhood is very quiet at night. There are several small convenience stores nearby to get water. There is construction next door when we were there so we were woken up early by hammering noise.

My wife and I stayed at Hotel16 the beginning of September. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a hotel where you're treated like family rather then just another guest then this is the place. The hotel is located only about 15 mins walking from the main shopping strip and about 25 mins to Old Town Square. The trains and trollies are all close by so if you're familiar with traveling through a city you can easily get any where using the public transportation. The hotel has passes at the front desk, which makes it even easier for you. This is an easy city to get around and the staff at the hotel are very helpful with train schedules and routes depending on where you're going.

The rooms were comfy and very functional. We stayed in one of the suites, which has an office so that you can spread out if you need to. I want to note that if you're looking for the posh hotel with all the bells and whistles this is not for you. The hotel's charm is in the decor and staff's knowledge and friendliness. You will feel comfortable and at home at this hotel, which for my wife and I it's exactly what we like. I enjoy that personal touch when I go away. Where people know you and are interested in helping you make the best of your trip by understanding what you like then finding places where you will enjoy yourself the most.

Breakfast was okay nothing to crazy or exciting. They offer eggs and omelets by request, which I recommend you take advantage of during your stay. There was a small selection of meats, cheese and some pastries along with yogurt and granola.

Two things that I would like to compliment on is the free Wi-Fi and free parking. You can get the Wi-Fi connection in your room, which is a huge plus. The free parking is also a big convenience and where the hotel is located it's easy to get in and out of the city by car.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Prague either for the first time or the tenth. This was my third time in Prague and my best stay so far. The value for the price that you pay is excellent.
