“Lovely place, wonderful staff, fabulous breakfast”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

The staff could not have been more helpful with recommendations, directions, anything at all. Several restaurants they mentioned in the area were very good. They also provide a laundry service. It was a lovely stay in a well run, charming hotel.

On our arrival we were presented with a complimentary bottle of wine to celebrate our recent engagement and this gesture got our break off to a great start. A comfortable, quiet room, delicious breakfast and exceptionally friendlyand helpful staff. Once we got our bearings, it only took us ten minutes to walk into the centre and the tram stop was handy to go up to the cathedral. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean hotel with good breakfast. Walking distance to all major sites. Cheap and good cafés nearby, price competitive. Not in the thick of the action but the walk to town is straight forward.

My husband and I spent 2 nights at Hotel 16 and had a wonderful experience. The staff was extremely helpful, courteous, and friendly providing information about public transportation, sights to see and great restaurants. The room was beautifully furnished, very clean, and comfortable. We had the feeling we were staying with good friends and not just renting a room. Although the hotel is a little difficult to spot (we drove in ourselves), it really is very well located in terms of being close enough to walk to the major tourist areas yet far enough away to provide peace and quiet. Should we be lucky enough to revisit Prague some day, we would definitely stay in this gem of a hotel again.

I recently stayed at this boutique hotel in Prague. Warm welcome on arrival with complimentary coffee, what can we do for you to help you with your trip ( local maps, walking routes, information and warm friendly advice, etc were provided) I had already emailed the hotel to book a garden terrace room, which was arranged and confirmed within the hour). Our room was lovely, very peaceful and overlooking the garden as requested. The hotel is around a 15 minute walk to the Charles bridge, but in a lovely location, close to the river ;( great for wandering along early evening) as well as some fantastic and incredibly well priced restaurants (u-kroka). The hotel is very peaceful, so you get a great nights sleep. The breakfasts were fantastic, but the best thing about this hotel are the staff. So helpful and friendly and genuinely interested in each and every guest, to ensure you have a wonderful stay. You can also obtain local bus and tram tickets from reception and hand back any you don't need and only be charged for those that you do. I can see why this hotel is so highly rated. Thank you for a great stay, would definitely stay with you again!

We stayed in hotel 16 for 3 nights in April. To say the staff were helpful is an understatement. From the moment we walked in they were full of great recommendations for restaurants, sights, tips on how to get around and were exceptionally friendly. The hotel itself was great. Beautiful breakfasts (flexible on timings), clean and immaculately presented rooms. We had an amazing room (six I think) that had access to a double levelled garden. Prague is a wonderful city, and hotel 16 was the perfect place to explore it from.

A charming boutique hotel in a quiet location. While not in the thick of things, there are good transport links and a wide choice of pubs/bars and restaurants all within a short walking distance. My room was well-appointed, comfortable and quiet. A special mention must be made of the helpfulness and efficiency of the staff - whether to sell you a tram ticket, book a taxi or give advice on itineraries and restaurants, they'll go the 'extra mile'. A very good buffet breakfast was also provided. I was sorry that I was staying only one night.
