Went and stayed in this Hotel in January 2010 Very Central to everything very large and spacious rooms good sized Bathroom too and there is a lift to the above floors. But if your Mobility is limited it might be very difficult to Get down in to the Basement for your Breakfast it was worth for me though its was like an old Church with a pulpit in the corner very quirky and food was plentiful too not just your normal Continental Breakfast they catered for all Nationalities and it was superb. There is also a restaurant attached to building on street level which was nicely decorated (you had to go through there to get down to the Breakfast room). There is a good Bar with music and a night club above if you go through the arch way its on the corner of another street and if you walk up that street about 20 Yards there's a pizza place that you can buy by the slice we ate them out was very good to soak up the beer. Really enjoyed Prague when we were there it snowed constantly and it made our weekend away more memorable and special because it looked so pretty. We will Return before we are all to old to Party

This hotel is perfectly situated only steps from the Old Town Square with its famous astrological clock and minutes away by foot from the Jewish Quarter. It was hard to find by car and impossible to drive to until you first walk there and have the staff lower a barrier in the middle of the roadway. The hotel has two distinct wings although the buildings are connected on the outside. Our wing had a separate entrance and the smallest elevator I have ever encountered. Two people and a small piece of luggage was the maximum squeezed capacity. You also had to go outside to get from the top floor elevator exit to the rooms.
Our room was huge. Two separate sitting areas and a large sleeping area. It was air conditioned and the. Large bathroom had been completely modernized. However, as a top floor room it had large, very low beams throughout and one side of the bed could be reached only with extreme caution and significant contortions. The TV did not seem to be connected to any cable: it went on but could not receive any stations. The free wifi worked fine. The staff was mixed--helpful and friendly when we checked in but another set of desk clerks were verging on surly when we mentioned that the coverlet on the bed was dirty.
There was a pretty extensive breakfast buffet, but you had to go two stories below ground to get to it and there was very little space where it was set up.

If you are looking for a great location in Prague, look no further. Having spent 3 days walking around Prague, we couldn't have been happier with our hotel choice. Just beyond Old Town Square, the hotel was perfectly central and easy to get to from every part of the city.

We were 3 friends, in our 30's traveling and found it to be a great size room for 3 people. (We had two twin beds and a pull out couch- which had already had been made up for us when we checked in) The room is a bit outdated w/ a quirky medieval vibe. But for the price, a great room. And well worth every penny for the location. The staff was incredibly helpful. The breakfast buffet (included) was a nice bonus for the price as well.

Room Tip: The last night we were there, our room which faced the street was incredibly loud. It was a Wednesda...

We spent four days in the Hotel Metamorphis in Prague. The hotel is a lovely old building and kept in the original style. Our room was very big with a separate seating area. The staff were friendly, breakfast really lovely but the stairs down to the breakfast room are quite steep, so not recommended if you have a disability. It was a little bit noisy at night but overall the hotel was really great and we had a superb time. The restaurant was very good too, we had two meals there and the pizza is very authentic and made in front of you. Overall it's a good place to stay as it is in the very centre of the Old Town and it's so easy to walk to all the many sights.

Spacious accommodations and walking distance to most major attractions. We stayed in 2 different rooms with our 15 year old daughter - there was plenty of room and buffet breakfast that is included is extensive. The second room was like a mini apartment - the only drawback was no separate shower - the tub had a hand shower, but no curtain or other enclosure.

Hotel staff is generally nice and helped with restaurant and taxi arrangements.
