We have just spent a most wonderful 46th wedding anniversary in Prague, staying four nights at the Aria hotel. It was one of the best hotel experiences we have ever enjoyed. The attention to detail throughout the whole hotel was refreshing and impressive. The open areas and the garden were particularly appreciated. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the warm and friendly staff who went out of their way to make us welcome - even presenting us with an anniversary cake! Our thanks to the whole team. The complimentary reviews are well earned and deserved.

i came here with my family to visit Prague for the first time. we were only staying for 2 nights but i must say i really enjoyed it.like they always say don't judge a book by its cover and this is exactly what you should not do when you first arrive.the exterior may not look like much but inside is a world of unlimited luxury. the rooms are nice and spacious but do not have very good views. the bathrooms were great and i especially liked the Molton Brown hygiene products. the reception was a delight and the concierge was very knowledgeable. the breakfast is not so special but considering its free its acceptable and also the location is very adequate.when you come back from a long day of sightseeing you can unwind and watch a movie in the music box or the screening room.overall i believe that this is a spectacular hotel and is worth staying.

We spent 3 nights at the Aria and loved it! The rooms are lovely and a highlight was a perfect dinner in the rooftop terrace with a spectacular view of Prague. The concierge was helpful with great recommendations for restaurant and we especially loved the common areas for playing cards and enjoying a glass of wine.

We stayed at the Aria Hotel for three nights. It is a short walk to the Charles Bridge and Old Town but far enough away that it doesn't feel crowded. It is also walking distance to Castle area. The music decor is very cool and the rooms are spacious and very quiet. Very few rooms have any view but we loved how quiet it was so were not bothered by the lack of view. The rooftop restaurant is amazing with fantastic views of the entire city. The concierge recommended two great restaurants within walking distance. The staff are very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Jr. Suites are large and worth the extra price. Each floor has a different music theme. 2nd floor i...

We are all delighted that you enjoyed your time with us and that you liked the music theme of the hotel. It is true we are so lucky with our location. ARIA Hotel is an oasis of calm but just moments away from the hustle and bustle of central Prague and some of the most iconic sites.

Apart from the hotel's superb name (my opera travel company happens to be called Aria Tours), every aspect of this small group stay, which ends tomorrow, has been extraordinary. I had known of the hotel for years but was reluctant to stay in the Castle District as I felt it was too far from the city's highlights, but I was wrong. The Castle District itself is charming, and only a very short walk (4 minutes) to the Charles Bridge.

And the hotel....where to start? Hidden on a quiet street but in a charming location, the interior design is tasteful, luxurious and modern without being stark. It is warm, with wonderful artwork and natural light. The main floor is incredible--a beautiful music/DVD lending library that looks like the ideal home office, a viewing theatre that all can use with glorious wood panelling and a state-of-the-art sound system, a lovely lounge/bar where breakfast and complimentary afternoon tea are served, and a superb restaurant (Coda) where Chef David works his magic. Our welcoming dinner, in the fireplace library alcove off the lounge, was excellent, with locally-sourced duck and pork medallions sous vide being the highlights.

Each floor has a musical theme, and the rooms are amongst the nicest I've ever had, with amenities that no hotel I've ever stayed in can match: not just a wifi connection, but your own desktop computer, Apple TV, iPod docking station, DVD player, stellar sound system with tower speakers, huge wood-panelled wardrobe, great marble bathroom with rain shower and soaker tub, a love seat and sitting area. And folks--I had a small room! The junior suites are massive, and spectacular. At rates that are much lower (by half) than the Four Seasons. And there is no way that the rooms and staff at the Four Seasons are better.

So about the staff....when I arrived, tired from my flight, three members of the staff--Jan, Petr and Lucie--took me to the spectacular rooftop terrace for a coffee to discuss my stay with my small group. They wanted to make certain that everything was perfect, and it turned out to be. Not a missed detail, and in fact, kindness that surpassed expectations. One member of my group tripped at a museum and broke his leg on the first day (a first in 15 years in travel), and the hotel went out of their way to assist: Group General Manager Jiří Hlavatý wanted the injured man's wife to remain at the hotel for her unexpected extended stay so that they could take care of her while her husband was recovering, and when she considered staying at a much inferior hotel near the hospital, he lowered the rate as a special exception to make the stay more manageable. The hotel also delivered beautiful flowers to her room with a card signed by the entire staff. Absolute class and genuine concern for clients--something else that our two companies share in addition to a name.

A few thoughts:

- the rooms are well-insulated for sound (I did not hear a sound from either of the adjoining rooms) and the location of the hotel meant zero street noise. Perfectly quiet sleeps
- plenty of hot water at any time of day
- every corner of the hotel is clean and pristine
- the Baroque gardens adjoining the hotel are glorious, and the oldest in Prague
- the bar staff (especially Michael) were terrific. Great wines by the glass and a nice selection of single malts and cognacs
- Stefan and Zoran in the restaurant could work at any Michelin 3-star restaurant in the world. Superlative service
- breakfast buffet was lovely, with a la carte eggs in three styles included
- complimentary tea is served between 4-5 each day, with sandwiches and beverages
- there are many great restaurants, both casual and formal, nearby, and many of the city's best attractions
- every single staff member, from management to housekeeping and door men, were courteous, genuine and professional, and did commendable work and seemed to be very happy where they were

I've been staying in 5-star hotels with my groups for 15 years, and this was perhaps the single best experience of my career.

Thank you to Jan, Jiří, Petr, Lucie, Ivana (the hotel's Music Director--come on, folks--how many hotel's have a Music Director!!!), Martina and the rest of the front desk staff (Roman and Martin and everyone else), and the restaurant and bar staff--Zoran, Stefan, Michael, Dominik and the friendly breakfast servers.

An unforgettable experience--see you twice next year and every time I am in Prague.

Room Tip: The suites are out of this world, especially the Billie Holiday Suite (412), Beethoven Suite (311) a...

We read the reviews and were sold on the comments of service and friendliness. The hotel is beautiful, the garden area was magnificent and all the other things we all look for were great. The most important things to us was the service and caring that the entire staff showed us.We were not only helped by the staff of Roman,Filip,Klara(front desk)Jarda(bellman)Michal,Petr, and Zoran (food management)we had conversations with all of them about their wonderful city Prague. We also got to know the Concierges- Ivana,Martina and Henry who helped us patiently with all of our questions and planning. We came away feeling like we were truly "guests" and when we return it will be to our favorite hotel Aria.

Room Tip: Corner suites are large and sunny

We LOVED the Aria. It is beautiful - particularly the common areas. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. It was quite a contrast to the Corinthia in Budapest where we also stayed. The Corinthia is also a lovely hotel but you could really feel the difference in the warmth of the spaces and personnel between a smaller more unique hotel like Aria and a corporate chain hotel. The breakfast at Aria was delicious and, again, quite a lesson for our children regarding quantity (Corinthia breakfast spread was huge) and quality (Aria breakfast was much tastier - from the bread for toasting to the homemade yogurt and lattes). The Aria is also very well-located. We walked everywhere. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Prague.
