“Loved the Aria!”
Reviewed 6 July 2009

We loved our stay at the Aria!!! It is a lovely boutique hotel in the Mala Strana, close to the Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. The service is top-notch and they have thought of a million and one details. Upon check-in, they give you a brief tour and introduce you to the music concierge. They also provide an ipod (which our teenage son loved) and there is a computer and DVD player in every room. They also give you a complimentary bottle of wine and fresh fruit in each room. The beds are very comfortable (we slept really well), the rooms are quiet and the bathroom is lovely. It is gray granite and there is a separate shower stall with a rain showerhead.
There is a DVD and music library where you can check out music or dvds. You can also check out guide books to get more information on Prague. The concierge is wonderful and provided fantastic suggestions for music and restaurants. She recommended fabulous concerts. There are so many concerts to choose from each evening in so many wonderful venues and her suggestions were great.
The breakfast buffet was the best we had on our entire three week trip and the wait staff was very friendly and helpful. We were only sad that we had to leave. We can't wait to return. A fantastic, fabulous hotel!

Tired of visiting luxury chain hotels in foreign countries only to be met with a luxurious yet thoroughly homogenized version of an American 5 star hotel? We were looking for a super clean, quiet and comfortable hotel in a central location with local flavor and found this treasure!

Differentiating factors for the Aria include the music library with thousands of CDs and an in-house musicologist. A stunning view from our ivy draped windows of a Baroque garden . One can access the garden directly from the hotel. And an intimate roof terrace where we could enjoy after dinner drinks and desserts while watching the sunset over the city. (It's possible to have a full dinner here but we didn't have the opportunity.)

It didn't hurt either that we were upgraded to a two bedroom suite that had a mini dishwasher, stove, full sized microwave, nespresso coffee maker, and half refrigerator. This was particularly useful given the fact we were traveling with our 7 and 10 yr old children.

For the exercise junkies, the gym is spacious for a medium sized hotel and offers all the necessary and brand new equipment for a full body workout. The fellow who manages the gym is also a massage therapist and is on call during the day so one can make a last minute appointment if he is available.

Other amenities worth noting, iPod players in every room, FREE high speed Internet with a full sized flat screen monitor in suite, Molton Brown bath products, delicious breakfast buffet, beautiful contemporary decor and a super helpful and professional staff.

The only thing we disliked was that the hotel could not recharge our laptop computer as we had a problem with our adapter. The hotel claimed it was a government regulation and not a hotel policy.

With the overflowing crowds of summer tourists, it’s nice to retreat into this wonderful hotel in the Lesser Town. Located just on the west side of the Charles Bridge, it is conveniently located among many embassies, including the U.S. Embassy down the street. In addition to the impressive gothic Church of St. Nicholas and the Prague Castle, nice restaurants are within easy walking distance. The musical theme of the hotel is unique; it has a fully stocked CD and DVD library and knowledgeable concierge. But most notable, the staff makes you feel comfortable and they are exceedingly service oriented. During our 5 day stay, this unique hotel, the convenient location and the friendly staff exceeded our expectations.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Aria on our recent trip to Prague and loved it. We were upgraded to a suite, and the room was comfortable, spacious and well-appointed. There is a generous breakfast buffet included with the room that includes a nice selection of breads, cereals and meats/cheeses. There is also the option to order a heartier breakfast if you would like, but we found the buffet to be generous enough that we never did. As nice as the room was, the staff and the location helped make it truly wonderful. The concierge was fabulous! She had great tips for our sightseeing plans and arranged for a reliable cap to pick us up at 4 a.m. to take us to the train station. She was also just a lot of fun to talk to. The location was also wonderful. We never took a cab or public transportation while in Prague. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. The hotel is centrally located between Old Town and the Prague Castle. The view of the Castle from the rooftop terrace is also a plus. I would highly recommend Hotel Aria!

This hotel was in a great location in Prague. We did not have to take a single cab to visit all the places that we wanted to go. It is a short (5 minute) walk to the Charles Bridge and probably a 15 minute walk to Prague Castle.

The hotel was great also. Very nicely done. The staff was very helpful and the concierge was great at helping us plan our day. We were upgraded to one of the suites which was an outstanding room. Plenty of room, great electronics, free high speed Internet in the room, and great bathrooms.

We ate on the roof at the hotel restaurant, which was very nice also. We were unlucky that it rained towards the end of the dinner but the view and the location are amazing. Prague is an unbelievable city, and the Aria helped us to enjoy it all.

I took my partner here for his birthday last year and we had a brilliant time. Unfortunately his luggage did not turn up but the hotel chased the airline and he had his luggage that evening. The staff are very friendly and helpful and although I had booked a junior suite we were very lucky to have been upgraded to a luxury suite.

The hotel is very clean and the musical theme tells a story throughout.

The gardens are also gorgeous and give great views of the city and castle.
