“Great location, fantastic service and a restaurant to die for!”
Reviewed 21 February 2010

We stayed for a long weekend at the Aria and got picked up using the limousine service. From that moment until we left the friendly service and support was fantastic by everyone we met.

The rooms were lovely and bespoke, with the only criticism being that they were rather hot and the air con didnt make a huge difference. However, we slept with the windows open and the quality of the room more than made up for this.

We ate in the Coda restaurant without having read the online reviews and as a result we were really suprised at how fantastic the food and service was. it was pricey (but mainly because of the wine) but definitely worth a splurge and it was one to repeat once you have saved up again.

I have been lucky enough to stay in a number of 5star hotels over the years and i can honestly say this is one of my favourites. Understated, welcoming and great quality.

Great location - very central, located on Castle side of the river, which is quieter but really beautiful.

We visited in December and the style of the hotel meant that it lacked a cosy ambience which would have been appreciated at this time of year. Public areas disappointing. Open plan lounge, bar restaurant without a focal point. The small library looked charming, but was not open at all times. There is a rooftop terrace with bar, which would be great in the summer months.

However, there was good attention to detail on the musical theme, with an extensive CD and DVD library which could be played on your in room entertainment system.

Service in the restaurant very good. Food also very good.

Rooms disappointing. We were initially given a room on the top floor, which was very small and had one high window that you could not see out without standing on a chair, and this made the room dark. The shape was arkward too and was probably the worst room we have had in a five star hotel. We asked to be moved and were offered a junior suite but at quite a significant increase in price. This was better but it was a junior suite without any comfortable seating or significant improvement in furnishings than the original room. Again the windows were awkwardly poitioned and there was no view, although this is probably because the hotel has a courtyard configuration which rooms look onto. We advise that you ask about your room allocation on booking.

There area couple of nice cafes in the same street across the road which are worthwhile visiting and had a great atmosphere.

Probably better as a hotel to stay in in summer rather than winter.

We would recommend the hotel if you can get the right room at the right price.

We were treated with outstanding service at every turn. Staff were warm and welcoming. The view from the veranda on the roof is beyond compare, and the musical theme of the hotel is unique, intimate, and inviting.

The Aria Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way! The hotel room size is very ample for "european standards". So many times, you pay 300+ Euros for hotels in Europe that are not necessarily on par with their price... but Aria was a great value because for less than 200 Euros, we got a great size room, IPOD in room to be able to listen to many genres of music, great breakfast, excellent staff and fabulous location. It was one of the best hotels I've stayed at! I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights this month, it is a lovely hotel and centrally located. The staff were fantastic, it was my partner's birthday and they provided us with a beautiful birthday cake on arrival. They were very attentive. We stayed in a Junior Suite which was very spacious, only issue was the shower was extremely small. Our rate included breakfast but unfortunately you had to pay for a cooked breakfast which was a shame....but what they did provide was plentiful, lots of fruit/cereal/cheese/bread etc. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel was terrific. Beautiful hotel, very attentive and helpful staff and a lot of great modern resources and amenties (free DVD rental, CD rental, ipods in every room). The hotel is in a great location with beautiful views and has a terrific restaurant.

What I loved the most was the free internet AND COMPUTER in every room! An accessible computer with internet access made it easy to keep in touch with family and friends at home, find local yoga classes and restaurants, book train tickets and a million other things!

I would highly recommend this hotel all around!

Spent four nights at the Aria in October while on a European trip where we stayed in 5 star hotels in Dubai, Amsterdam and Vienna. The Aria was the equal of any of these hotels. The room was spacious and handled two suitcases with ease and the bathroom was huge with a real bath, not a pretend.
The decor was themed almost art deco with a wonderful music system, and a complimentary in room computer for internet access. The complimentary fruit and wine on arrival was a nice touch. The king bed was superb as was the choice of reading material in the room.
Breakfast included in the tariff was difficult for indecisive people, to much variety as was the intimate dining room for evening meals which excelled itself for service and presentation.
Definately the place to stay in Prague; well located in a pleasant part of the City; wonderful attentive staff who I'm sure set out from the moment you arrive to make your stay one to remember. A woderful boutiqe hotel.
