“Excellent value for money”
Reviewed 7 November 2010

I selected this hotel on the basis of reading previous reviews and was not disappointed. The double room was very large and was kept spotlessly clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and there was an ample continental style buffet breakfast.

If you are being really picky then be aware they don't have coffee/tea making facilities in your room, they have limited english language tv channels and in room internet is at an extra cost.

The hotel is located only a couple of hundred metres up from the muzeum at the top of Wenceslas Square and provides excellent access to the city centre. The adjoining streetside buildings do look a bit sleazy, but in practice this didn't create any problems at all.

I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel which on our trip was excellent value at under £50 a night for the two of us for bed and breakfast.

Excellent hotel.Superb staff.Fantastic breakfast.....the best we've had.
Take no notice of reports of sex shops etc in the area...the few that there are, are very discreet, and the windows advertise perfume etc. You would have to be a prude to object.
Good position 5 mins Wenceslas, 12 mins station,12 mins town centre.

When we checked in was given a room on 6th floor which was very small and only a skylight (no window). After taking to front desk was given a room on the 3rd floor which was much bigger and very nice.
Very clean hotel with helpful staff. The included breakfast was first rate. The dining room is only open for breakfast but they do serve lunch and dinner in the lobby lounge. Eat there twice and it was great; excellent food and excellent service by Thomas.
As we had to leave early on the day of our check-out, they gave us a take-away breakfast for the train.

Great hotel. Lovely foyer, friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast, clean and large rooms. The location seems a bit seedy due to the surrounding sex shops but really not a big issue. Short walk to the main square, round the corner from trams and metro, lots of restaurants within a short walk. Brilliant Italian restaurant over the road. Would stay again.

They'd made a slight booking error, and to compensate we were in suites (2 couples) for the remaining 3 days out of 4. For 75€ a night ! These are excellent people, in a wonderful hotel. We loved Prague, we loved the hotel, we loved Julie, our desk clerk. We were almost embarrassed by the luxury of the suites, as we were mostly out in the town. Great !

We stayed for 5 nights in August this year and got our last night at a reduced rate which was fantastic. The staff were very helpful and were able to help with all our questions. The breakfast was great and went until 11am which allowed for a little lie in if you wanted. The room itself was spacious with a good ensuite shower. The bed was huge and very comfy. The hotel is in a good location for walking everywhere around town and just 5 mins from the metro stop. I would stay there again very happily.

We booked a suite in Hotel Seven Days for 4 nights in July and got 40% off the price! The location is good, near the National Museum. Also some nice bars and restaurants just around the corner. The room was spacious and beautiful, and although it was on the street side, it was surprisingly quiet. Very good and well functioning bathroom. And the best thing was superb air conditioning! It was burning hot outside but our room stayed nice and cool. It was pure bliss. Only disappontment was the bed, it had seen its best days and the springs stuck out and kept reminding us of their existence at night every time we moved. We wondered if that was the reason for the reduced price...

The breakfast was outstanding, one of the best we have ever seen. So many varieties to choose from, cold or hot, sweet or not, you name it - there was everything. Special thanks for the wonderful selection of vegetarian dishes. Every morning we stuffed ourselves with these delicious varieties and it kept us going till late afternoon.

The staff were nice and polite in formal, old fashioned way. The Lobby Bar was cosy and drinks good and reasonably priced. I was a bit annoyed because the password for the free Wi-Fi in the lobby area changed daily so you had to ask for it every day at the reception.

The airport taxi service was very good and reliable. The driver didn't talk much, but he was calm, very polite and helped us with our luggage.

Overall we were very happy with our stay at Hotel Seven Days.
