The hotel is around 15-20 min to city center by public transportation. It is in a quiet, safe and nice location. Breakfast is very good and the price is perfect!
- Free Wifi
- Breakfast included
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We booked based on the awesome price even though it wasn't centrally located. The room was very neat and clean and had a good amount of space. First European hotel that actually provided wash cloths! The hotel is not near the center city but the tram is a 5 minute walk away and Tram #20 can take you one block away from Charles Bridge for about 1 euro. The tram ride takes at most 20 mins. Pros of the hotel: Clean, neat, informative reception, strong wifi, quiet neighborhood, seemed safe. We opted out of paying to park in their garage for 6 euros and parked on the same street of the hotel for free and our car was safe. Cons: Extremely thin walls, so thin you can literally hear everything your next door neighbors are saying and doing. We are hard sleepers so this didn't affect our sleep, just annoyed us in the times we were awake. The rooms have no air conditioning. Also, there was no dark curtain, only a very sheer one. This bothered us because we love to sleep in pitch black. With all that being said, I would stay here again.... in the winter!
I was here on a family visit and had a small room with two separate beds. The room, though tiny, was very neat and clean and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was neat and very comfortable too. The buffet breakfast was good and the staff at the reception helpful. My room faced the street but was quiet. The hotel is bit far from the tram stop, especially if you have to carry luggage as it is uphill and this makes it difficult. However, it was very convenient to reach the city centre.
We used it already twice for overnighting before flight and couldn't choose any better ! Hotel is well situated for this purpose and for Prague castle visit on flight stop too. Very close to the public transfer, access and parking (street or inside) without problems. Prices very reasonable for Prague : at begin of Februar, we paid 59 Eur (!) for triple room.
Hotel is modern, nice, personell perfectly helpfull, conditions relaxed. Rooms are not huge, but absolutely clean and convenient for overnight stay esp. at such price. Free wifi. There is big restaurant in the building with delicate food, yet not exactly cheap (well, you are in Prague)
This hotel is big surprise, how perfect it could be, contrary to other choices in that location.
The hotel is some half way from airport to the city and we chose it because we wanted to take a short afternoon tour in Prague, our connection flight being the next morning. The airport hotels were far more expensive (80 eur+ excl. breakfast) compared to Avion (40 EUR incl.breakfast) and for a short night sleep didn't feel we should be spending extra 40+EUR.
The only plus cost if you are the Avion is the bus from the airport (No.119) which is around 2 EUR one way, which is peanuts. On the way back to the airport we took taxi as we realized the bus station to the airport is little further (not at the same spot as from the airport, ask at the reception) and it was very early in the morning - the taxi being very cheap also 10 EUR or 240 Czk! Several trams run from Cherveny Vrch (bus & tram station) to the center making it easily accessible to center also. Room is very basic and Ok for a night sleep. The stuff was kind enough to prepare some sandwiches as we left before breakfast time.
Stayed 1 night with family in 3 double rooms, Room are decorated with very basic furniture.
Room service : 2 od our room were not supplied shampoo and we were charged for making "INTERNAL" phone calls between rooms which hardly can be done elsewhere,
but staff were helpful and breakfast was the best part.
little extra attention to details is crucial but worth.
