“i wouldn't stay there again”
Reviewed 22 June 2013

I stayed there 4days,from 17-22/6.the only good thing I can say about it is that the tram/metro station is withing minutes.Apart from that, the beds were rather uncomfortable, pillows way too soft that prevented Me from getting a decent sleep. It was full of noisy students, running everywhere, screaming etc.Food was not good.Poor quality and variety,Exchange of money was not possible,Staff was not always polite. We made several atempts to cool the room a little but the a/c wasn't "obeying"and we ended up sleeping with windows open which brought in a load of mosquitos.certainly I am not going back again.

Room Tip: do not choose any rooms here.

Have used this hotel 3 times but our last stay in September 2012 was just awful. First few days was nice and quiet but then bus loads of students arrived .They were very loud running up and down the corridors screaming and shouting, opening the windows and shouting to other students, banging doors and making as much noise as possible without a thought for other guests. We did complain at reception but nothing was done about it. The food standard was very poor and usually cold. We did ask to change some sterling to local money but were told no can do. We do love Prague and will visit again some time but we will NOT be staying at this hotel ever again we will leave it to the students

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in March 2013. The hotel is located a bit far from the city center but close to a metro station. The bed and the lining were clean and comfortable. We had trouble heating the room. The temperature would go up half a degree within 3 hours... We also had difficulty controlling the high level of humidity in the room. We had breakfast 3 times there. The food was OK but coffee was not good. The hotel is conveniently located near a grocery store.

This hotel is surely not a 4 star hotel. Rooms were small and furniture quality was decent at best. 19 floor hotel with 3 elevators (1 was out of service during my stay) is simply not enough elevators.
As a plus side, it's cheaper hotel since it's bit of a walk from town center but tram and metro stations are very close (1-2 min walk distance)
If you don't mind crowdness and not looking for a quality hotel go for it. Otherwise it's not worth it.

Room Tip: Try to book first few floors, elevators are broken and waiting time can be 10+ mins with all that tr...

I stayed here for 4 days in December 2012 and was very impressed overall with my stay.
The location is out of the city centre, accessible by 4 stops on the metro.
The service was very good in my experience.
Breakfast is adequate and there is a good selection to choose from, pancakes, cold meats, salads, cereals.
The restaurant has a decent selection of meals should you wish to dine at dinner.
This is a really good value for money hotel.

In the hotel Olympik we had the opportunity to spend three nights only, but value for money is excellent. Friendly staff, which is unlike some more star hotels helpful. Another plus was the very good location and a big breakfast. If you go to Prague and looking for comfortable accommodation at a high level, but affordable. I highly recommend :-)
