Hotel Rott is situated in the historical building on a quiet street in the very center of the Old Town. Almost everything worth seeing is just around the corner or at least 15 mins walk. The subway station (for longer trips) is also in the next block.
Service is perfect. The rooms are medium size with high ceiling, clean and convenient. But their drawbacks are squeaky floor and cold water In the shower - you have to wait a minute before it becomes warm. :-(
Breakfast is basic (2-3 types of every kind of food) but good. Eggs (fried, scrambled, boiled), fried ham and sausages, cold meat, cheese, vegetable salads, yoghurt, fruits and pastry. Coffee machine; drinks machine with apple and orange juice. No button "Beer" on it, although in Prague you could expect it :-).
Hotel Rott was an excellent base for our enjoyable New Year visit to Prague and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
