The best of this hotel would be the location, it is right near the Old Town Square. The room is spacious and clean but it is not quite you would expect for a so-called 4-star hotel - no complimentary bottled water, no kettle, and the lighting in the bathroom is a bit weird - no lighting in the shower!

This is a lovely little hotel with a friendly service. The rooms are clean, warm (but not too hot) with plenty of space. The breakfast is varied (hot and cold) and does the job. The main benefit of this hotel is the location; it's brilliant. Very close to the old town square, clock and wonderful Christmas market.

It was my first time in Prague and I was travelling alone and had booked with Hotel Rott prior to my stay. Let me just say...AMAZINGLY spacious room. I was so surprised as to how large the room and bathroom was not to mention there is more than enough room for two side tables, a closet, table and chairs and a dressing table. Rooms are very clean and well kept. Only downfall is there are no tea and coffee making facilities. Overall, fantastic!

Not quite what you would expect for a four star hotle but yet very comfortable and clean.
Location is the best thing about the hotel.
Room was a little small but perfectly fine.
Breakfast was fine but even though I was only there for three days it got repetitive.
I woul try and find a hotel as central next time but I am not in a rush to return to this hotel. Nothing wrong with it but just not for me.

Booked direct with hotel for 4 nights in November. Hotel room clean and warm, didn't hear any noise even although out room faced onto the little square and was next to the Hard Rock Café. Close to all tourist attractions so able to walk everywhere. The breakfasts were disappointing, orange juice tasted of nothing, eggs ( scrambled and fried) were not freshly made. Bananas and apples were cut in half and put out for the breakfast- not what you would expect from a four star hotel. However, don't let that put you off as we chose the hotel for the situation and not for the food reviews.

Recently spent four nights at The Rott Hotel which is situated just around the corner from the astronomical clock on the old town square. Below the hotel is Czech Hard Rock Café. We didn't hear any noises from it. The room was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The evening meal was excellent and reasonably priced although the 30% discount voucher given to us on checking in did help.
We tried a few places for evening meals but Rott restaurant was the best value.
The staff were very polite and helpful.
In all we found this to be better than expected and would most certainly return.

Just returned home from our second stay at the hotel Rott. And there's little to moan about. Room was quite hot (but it was 0 oC outside) and the noise of people outside (no fault of the hotel, and I did have a window open because of the heat). The staff upon arrival are excellent, the hotel is really well presented, room was fine, but we spent little time in there. The location of the hotel is perfect, you couldn't ask for a better position. Will definitely return to the hotel on our next visit to prague.
