I stayed at this hotel (in the main building) with 7 other friends for my birthday celebration in early February. It was a cheap and quick taxi ride from the airport, our rooms were all nice, remodeled, clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They even put us all on the same floor which was great!

The daily breakfast was pretty good (though nothing special) and we got sucked in every morning by the awesome 90's music videos playing on loop on the TV in the dining room. They said breakfast closed at 10.30am but they always left it open later, which was great for those of us who are not early risers.

The location was close to the Anděl metro and tram stations, making for extremely easy and quick access to all the major sites. There are also loads of good restaurants 1-2 blocks away -- our favorite was El Barrio.

I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Prague.

I stayed here for 4 nights at the end of January and found it to be a basic but comfortable experience, much better than I was expecting!
It was freezing cold when we arrived, but the interior of the hotel was constantly set to a nice warm temperature. We had booked into a room in the apartment, but were upgraded to a hotel room for free, so we didn’t have to trek back to the hotel in the morning for breakfast. All of the staff that we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty basic but had a good selection of cheese, cereals, rolls, eggs, yogurts etc.
Yes, the wifi connection was a little unpredictable but it wasn’t too bad in my experience. We found the hotel itself to be in a really good location; lots of good restaurants and bars in the area, and a shopping mall and cinema situated just around the corner. It was within walking distance to all of the main attractions; granted there’s a bit of a walk but this can be done all along the river front, and it only takes around 20 minutes to get into the centre.
Loved Prague and like this hotel!

This Hotel is in a fairly good location just around the corner from a busy tram junction and a Metro line. The room was ok (fourth floor) used the elevator, shower wasn't brilliant but hot. Breakfast was a good continental spread, all the usual ham, cheese, fruit, cereal etc, etc.

WiFi, this is where this hotel fails miserably, just awful. If wifi is important because you want to search where to go, what to do you will not be able to get a connection at this hotel. Had I had known this before we booked I would have booked another hotel. Apparently they have one router in the basement (breakfast) which rarely works. They have another for the reception area and maybe the first floor and another router for the top floor which you guessed it rarely got a connection. So frustrated. If a hotel advertises free wifi then deliver it. Because of this I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it unfortunatley.

La Boutique is well situated, but the staff really let this place down.

We must have come in contact with 7 or 8 staff members during our 4 night stay... half of them were indifferent, the other half were straight up rude. It was one of those stays that leaves you seriously pondering why some people choose to work in hospitality, when they are so openly inhospitable.

The rooms are large but a little grubby. The WiFi is super-dodgey, more trouble than it’s worth most of the time. Basically any time we really needed to use it, it was down.

The lighting throughout the hotel is terrible. The entire hotel’s lighting runs off 30 second timers. There’s no natural light in the hallways which means that even during the day its pitch black until such time as you can find a button on the wall to light up that one section. Then its a 30-second race to try to find the button to light up the next 10m stretch. Aside from the annoyance, it’s dangerous - especially around the stairwell!

The hotel is a 5 minute walk to a big shopping mall, and a 5 minute walk to a metro station. Two stops on the train and you’re right in the centre of town. The location can’t be faulted - only the service.

Breakfast is quite nice, it’s just a shame about the people serving it.

When we were checking out, we asked reception to call us a taxi to take us to the airport. They offered to call a cab company who could take us there for a fixed price. The fixed price was about £14 more than we had paid from the airport to the hotel, so we kindly declined and said we’d prefer they just call a metered cab. They turned nasty and flat out refused. I’ve never come across a hotel who won’t call you a cab when you need to get to the airport to catch a flight - but these guys wouldn’t. Caught without a local SIM card, we had to wander the streets with all of our bags until we found a cab, which took some time as the hotel isn’t exactly in the busiest part of town.

It wasn't an awful stay by any means, but it was certainly a disappointing stay and we won’t be back.

La Boutique has mastered the art of tirp advisor trickery. Yes all of the photos are TECHNICALLY there, but the picture they paint is not representative of the hotel itself. First off was the lighting in the hallways. We took the elevator up to our floor to find it completely dark. Turns out that the hallways and even the stairwell are on a 30 second timer for the lights. This is a pain to deal with. Especially at night.

The second item of great cheapness was the bed. They advertise twin rooms, and double rooms (twin have 2 beds, doubles have 1 large bed). We booked a double room and instead got 2 twin beds that had been pushed together and made to look like one bed. The difference however is easy to spot when you keep finding yourself wedged in between the mattresses in the middle of the night.

One of the most important aspects for us in a hotel is good WiFi. Despite the desk attempting to reset the routers multiple times, it didn't work once for us. We could connect to the network, but there was no internet available. This made looking up places to visit very difficult until we found a map at the visitor center of prague castle.

The one saving grace of La Boutique however was their breakfast. They had a great spread of everything from eggs to coffee cake and hot chocolate. When it comes down to it, this hotel was considered "4 stars" by multiple sources. At most it was a 2.5 star hotel. I consider a 4 star hotel to be of Hilton quality and this most certainly was not.

I visited Prague at the beginning of December with friends and this hotel was our base. We knew it was a budget hotel and were not expecting much but were pleasantly surprised at what we found. The hotel is central for the Metro and Trams with shops a 5 minute walk away - nice to see good old C & A's still exists!! The breakfast supplied was more than adequate with a good choice. The staff were pleasant and extremely helpful. Our room was a suite and it was all we could ask for after a day of walking around Prague, it was clean and warm. The hot water for the shower was excellent with no problems with water pressure. I would recommend this hotel as a base as to be honest you'll be out all day sightseeing and it's a good place to return back to of an evening. We didn't use the mini bar as the supermarket was across the road but it's there if you need it. I would recommend this hotel if you're on a budget as it is good value for money.

First time visit to Prague with girl friends for the Christmas markets and atmosphere . I would certainly recommend this Hotel, it's ideally situated being very close to the metro, bus station and trams. We didn't try it but I'm sure the centre of Prague was within walking distance maybe 20 mins. The room we were given was a Junior Suite with twin beds and a very large, comfortable sofa bed - it was very clean and warm. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. The only thing missing in the room was the facility to make a cup of tea. The breakfast was great with lots of choice. I would definitely stay here again.
