“Review of the restaurant/cafe in the street”
Reviewed 8 April 2013

We stopped here after looking to find other places but finally our hunger got the best of us. Service was good, but as I was to discover with most of the Czech Republic and Poland, not really what I'd classify as friendly. We had goulash and dumplings, both of which were very good and satisfied our hunger pains. Pretty reasonably priced for their location.

Another wonderful time at the Hotel. Staff were both attentive and informative. This is my 9th stay at the Hotel which is so close to all the city attractions especially The Estate Theatre - would recommend the current production of The Magic Flute. City to some extent was very quite this February 2013 but at least it was nor crowded. New novelty at the Hotel was ear muffs? You do not need them on the third floor.

Room Tip: Stay above the second floor to avoid noise of night club coming out in early hours of the morning.

We stayed at this hotel over christmas in 2012. The hotel has a great location right next to the Charles bridge. Our room, which was decorated beautifully, was quite large and included a big ensuite (only downside was that the shower head could not be attached to the shower wall which made it difficult to shower at times). Free wifi was available in the room which made it easy to contact family over the holiday period. The staff were helpful and very friendly. Breakfast included a large spread with many options. We would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to visit Prague.

Nice and relaxing atmosphere apart from a couple getting too friendly I'm the corner which got uncomfortable. unfortunatly smoking is aloud. Food was of a good standard and large portions, the meat in the goulash was slightly underdone . Waiter was friendly and quick. They charge for the bread basket and there is a 15% service charge but reasonably priced meal.

I read not so good reviews regarding this hotel. But I cannot agree with them. We just returned from this hotel - stayed 2 nights during Christmas time. I can say - hotel is very warm, staff was really very nice. Just an oldy smell was in our room - but what could You expect more from historical building?? We liked everything - food during the breakfast, disco club with averable prices.
To say about location - just perfect! Everything is reachable by foot!

Restaurant was appalling. the waiters were rude, and it was overpriced for undercooked food, ridiculous service charge and charged for things we didn't ask for. Total tourist trap due to location. Avoid it!

I have just returned from staying at this hotel and it was amazing. Located on the foot of Charles Bridge it is in a perfect location. Rooms are nice and comfortable and we foudn the restraunt very reasonably priced especially for cocktails that were very tasty! Would definately recommend this hotel to anyone taking a city break.

Room Tip: Rooms on the upper floors have less street/ Club noise
