Very nice hotel. They fully took into account our request for no carpet or feather pillows in our room. Very clean, good breakfast and very nice staff. Would absolutely recommend. We were also glad to be in this part of town; getting some distance from the touristy areas and seeing Prague in its everyday light. Vinehrady is a beautiful neighborhood, there are nice walks to be had, just wandering freely towards the river, or taking the tram 22. Kiitos paljon.

Great location, an easy 5 min walk to Namesti Miru (underground station and tram stops) and a leisurely 20 min walk to central Prague. Several nice bars and restaurants nearby but the hotel itself is within a quiet residential street.
We had a large bedroom with separate kitchen / dining room and a hairdryer in the bathroom, which is always handy!
Staff were pleasant and were happy for us to leave our cases after we'd checked out as we had a late flight.
Breakfast was good, plenty to choose from and it was constantly replenished so hot food stayed hot.
Would happily stay here again.

We were three people who spend two nights in a two room penthouse apartment. The location is very good,5 minutes walking from 22 tram in Namesti Miru. There are some cafes and restaurants nearby.
The apartment is spacious, clean with a very nice terrace. The staff was very helpful.
I highly recommend this hotel.

We were a bit hesitant about the hotel because we booked it through a tour package and it was a very good deal. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel and its location. We had a large room with a bed and sitting area, a small kitchen and a closet area with the bathroom (tub/shower). Although the carpet was a bit worn, the room was clean and we enjoyed the eating area in the kitchen to sit down and have tea and snacks. The breakfast was standard. The receptionist was pleasant, helpful and spoke good English. Some of the units have hardwood floors and tile. We really liked the location becuase it was away from the crowds in the town center, but close to a number of nice restaurants, cafes, bars and grocery stores. We were a 5 minute walk from the metro, which was only 3 stops from the old city and cost a little over a dollar each way. Just make sure you have coins for the ticket machines. We could walk to Wencelas Square in less than 15 minutes and to the old town in less than a half hour. Prague is very much a walking town and strolling along its streets is very pleasant. The ony hazard is the pull of the wives every time we passed a jewelry shop full of garnets and amber.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with hardwood floors and a large kitchen.

Good location, great value. Large rooms complete with kitchen, sitting area with tv. Not stylish but clean and comfortable. Desk staff can be surly or friendly but that's not so bad. This hotel is in a very good location with lots of cafes and restaurants. Close to center

We spent 6 nights here and were really happy with the hotel. The staff were helpful and there's no problem with leaving cases if you arrive before check in or have a late flight. The apartment was huge, and functional, and we loved having a kitchen so we didn't have to eat out every day. Breakfasts at the Orion are buffet style, with hot food (predominantly frankfurters and beans with ham), hard boiled eggs, yoghurt, cereals, bread, jams, ham (it's everywhere in Prague!), cheese, fruit and salad.
The area was perfect for us - a 5 minute walk from Namesti Miru metro and the 22 tram to the sights - and being residential was quieter than the city centre. It's suitable for families, mixed age ranges and friends, but not for the hen/stag parties! I'd certainly recommend this place to others.

Room Tip: We had a ground floor suite and were a bit concerned re noise, but actually it wasn't an issue.
