“60th Birthday”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 December 2013

I have just come back from Prague after spending a fantastic weekend there celebrating my 60th Birthday with my husband and 4 other friends. The hotel was just excellent in every way, there is nothing I can say wrong about the place. I never mentioned to them that it was my birthday but there was a lovely bottle of champagne put in our room on that day. Our room was right at the front of the hotel and it was great looking at the trams going by, also it was cold in Prague but our room was lovely and warm. Fab weekend, great city. We did'nt have time to use the Spa so I have not rated it but I am sure it would be excellent,.

We have seen a lot off hotels all over the world. But our stay in the Art Deco Imperial Hotel is one off the best.

The service, location, and specially the people who are working in the hotel. Always a smile, polite and very friendly.
Beautiful room and bathroom. The only thing a forgot was a Sissy dress.

We where in the hotel for business and pleasure, it was fantastic!!!

Room Tip: Corner suites are large and fully equiped.

We have just returned from a three night stay at this lovely hotel. Everything was perfect from checkin to checkout. on checkin we were asked if we wanted to upgrade from a delux room that we had originally booked. so we asked to see both rooms before deciding. the delux room was quite small and not a very good view from the window.so after seeing the upgrade room which had a great view of the street and very spacious.we jumped at it. All the staff that we met were all very proffessional. friendly and helpful. The only issue I had was getting out of the bath as sides are very high as I found out on first attempt resulting in a very large painful bruise on back of my leg, but it did ruin our stay at this beautiful hotel. We will definitely recommend to our friends and family as it is also a perfect location for exploring prague

Stayed here for 3 nights in November for a city break - Booked an executive room on the 5th floor - Lovely high ceilings, facing the side street so always quiet.

Hotel car service was a great way to arrive, everything's been restored but it's all very old in style, reflected immediately you step off the street and into the public spaces/lobby. Team members were all charming, professional and helpful, quick to sort out a minor issue at check-in to do with room floor requested.

Executive room was fantastic - Quiet, imbued with the "art deco" theme of the hotel, very spacious. Quick turn down service every night, chocolate on the pillow. The only thing odd about it was the guest cloak-room by the door - It's not a suite per se but a Very large room, so there's no real requirement for separate guest facilities - Think this is a carry over from the original design. Bed was ultra comfortable as well as hwuge, everything worked (could never work out the floor heating switch in the bathroom though), just felt very indulged. Tiny niggle with housekeeping - Everything spic and span and tidied...they just don't leave your pjs folded at the bottom of your bed - Usually its just where you left them, on a chair or whatever - But doesn't even register as an eye-brow raiser, so doesn't detract from the experience.

Had heard many good things about the Cafe Imperial, so as well as breakfast I'd booked to eat there for dinner every night - No regrets whatsoever: Fantastic delicious mittel-European food, rich and flavorful, great service, and delightfully good value for money - Two courses + coffee, and a pre-dinner cocktail? Just over £20. Pushing the boat out on the last night again with two courses (one being foie gras), glass of prosecco pre-dinner and a glass of rather fine local red with the mains? Around £30.

Highly recommended as a place to stay and a place to eat too. Oh and do order the hot chocolate - Guaranteed to sort any chocolate fix you may be craving!

This is a great cosy little hotel. The deco is as the name says it. Very chic, arty deco like. It is near to everywhere and you can walk to the old town in minutes. It is near to shopping malls, train and tram. Breakfast was great, the selection was good.
The room was clean, heating was great. Bed was comfortable and the shower is strong. Staff was very helpful in providing information on
where to eat, places to visit and transport.
Only down side is the room was rather small. You will struggle to have 2 bags in the room.

Room Tip: Great for couples.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nites after a River Cruise along the Danube.
It is a really nice and luxurious place to stay. Staff are very friendly and accommodating
The restaurant has excellent food. Reservations ae recommended for dinner
We ate their included breakfast buffet each morning and we also had schnitzel for
dinner one night...It was a fabulous experience.
The location of the hotel is walking distance to most of the attractions too
