Great stylish hotel! I would recommend it to everyone! !! The staff was very kind. The rooms are very clean. In few minutes you are in the center of the city.
There are so many things you can choose to eat for the breakfast.
Thank you pentahotel! We will see you again! !!

My wife found this hotel online, and like other reviewers, we were initially scared about what we would find given that it was so cheap.

I can say we were quite pleasantly surprised. When we arrived at the hotel we were impressed to see how modern it was, both inside and out. The lobby/bar was great!

We were in room 622 and were quite impressed with the room. The bed was huge (much bigger than a King Size). The room was very nicely decorated with a map of the area and pictures.

The breakfast that was offered was delicious and one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever had (paid or complimentary). The staff were also quite friendly and helpful with any questions that anyone has!

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. The only negative was that you can only have one device on the Internet, per room. So, if you have multiple phones/iPads, you may have issues. However, you can buy additional internet access for devices for a low price.

Stayed for a couple of nights in June in room 722. Booked using a living social deal so was a little concerned we might be in a poor hotel/room as it was so cheap (£99 for 2 nights) but we needed have worried - the hotel was fantastic! Absolutely loved the lobby/reception/bar area, a really modern, open plan space with comfy lounge sofas, pool table, numerous flat screen tvs, bar and restaurant!
Room was spacious with a huge comfortable bed (pillows to die for). Lovely waterfall shower! Large flat screen with a few english channels!
Well equipped gym, used it one morning and had the whole place to myself, cold water and apples available!
Staff were brilliant - friendly polite and helpful!
Ate from the restaurant while watching a world cup match on our last day just some nibbles - nachos, buffalo wings, fries and pizza - all really good - no complaints there!
2 minute walk to the tube and then 2 stops (5mins) to the old town square!
My only minor complaints for the whole weekend were - 1. Only pizza available on room service after 10pm. 2. Couldnt get the vending machine to work on the floor near the lifts!
Overall a fantastic hotel cant wait to go back!!!!
Top tip - leave the hotel through the main door and turn right, cross the road and immediately go down the steps on the right hand side - traditional czech pub with 90pence pints!! Fab!!

Very modern and beautifully designed hotel, the best breakfast I have had. A bit far from the city centre though, for us a daycard for the tram was included for one day which was good, but would have been even better if it was included for the whole stay (for us two nights). Helpful and very sweet staff and manager!

I've worked in communications and customer care at a hotel for almost five years and I love staying at hotels on my holidays. I rarely ever complain because I know what they go through and how finicky guests can be but this is just the worst stay I've ever experienced. On just visuals and location alone its lovely and the staff are friendly enough however upon staying here three nights I can not wait to leave. During the first night I ordered a nachos plate as a snack because I wasn't all that hungry and I noticed it was about 225kc or about $12-13 aud which was above some of the main meals prices. I caved and bought it anyway because I'm on holidays so why not? However I was served a plate of plastic including: cold corn chips with barely melted tube cheese, tube guacamole and canned salsa with a blob of sour cream. It was revolting and put me off dinner but I hate complaining so I said nothing. Then over the next few days our keys busted several times and we came back down to the lobby to have them fixed, which happened but staff didn't think to even apologise for the error. The Internet was free but so slow I could barely open this browser and it cut out completely for about 24 hours. Last but not least... our early morning call from a loudly buzzing sewage truck outside our room that woke us and stunk up the room with the smell of diseased fart. I almost vomitted and have had to hide under the duvet for the past half hour just to get some air. Pentahotel Prague you are positively the worst place I've been to and I sure as hell won't let social media be oblivious to your lackings. Kind regards from a hotel worker stuck under blanket.

Thank you for your feedback which has been really shocking. Especially when looking into the fact that you are calling yourself an expert with hotel communications, we would expect a different and more professional approach in communicating such issues and actually letting the hotel management know before your departure, as this would have given us the chance to explain or even to sort out. The way you communicated, puts our hotel into a wrong position and we would call some of your points being not facts and not the hotels fault.

Nachos: in average we are serving 150 portions per month and we never heard anything else than positive feedback about. If you would have checked costs of food and beverage in other hotels, I am sure you would have appreciated our very fair prices on which we overall got some very positive feedback as well on this pages. It is not true that we served our Nachos on plastic plates. To charge for a portion over 350 grams the amount of AUD12, we believe is fair, as you would rarely find such fair price for Nachos in another local Bar or Restaurant.
If you would have announced your dissatisfaction with the food, it would have been a pleasure for us to exchange it free of charge with another item on the menu, this is a usual praxis in hotels and restaurant.

Internet: Yes it is true that we are offering the basic internet for free, but for as little as EUR7,50 you get a premium internet access that allows you to download in an appropriate high speed.
This system of upselling internet services prevents overloading our internet capacity, which, those days is a common praxis for hotels.

The Truck mentioned:
We are very sad to read that you want to make us responsible for noise that is produced by the city; most probably there has been an issue with the city channel system that day, however you must understand that a city with over 670 hotels will not report such happenings to all hotels, giving them the chance to pre-warn their guests.
We also would have suggested to keep the window of your room closed, that would have definitely kept noise and smell away.

Kind regards

We just returned from a four day stay at the Pentahotel. I have to say everything was great, except a few issues with slow service due to under-staffing in the evenings. The hotel is very modern, very cool layout of the bar/reception/restaurant, with plenty of areas to sit and relax. Check in was quite slow, due to the number of people checking in when we arrived and also a possibly inexperienced receptionist.
We stayed in an executive room on the 6th floor at the back of the hotel and it was fabulous. Huge comfortable bed, brilliant rainfall shower and large flatscreen tv. We had a voucher with livingsocial so also received a free bottle of Prosecco on arrival and breakfast was included. We ate in the bar on our first night, tried the burgers and they were very tasty. Service was good and they have a great selection of drinks. The breakfast is buffet style and served from 6.30 to 10am. It is by far the best breakfast I have ever encountered in a hotel, with a really impressive selection of food on offer. Everything from pancakes, hot breakfast, cereals, breads, croissants, doughnuts, cold meats and cheeses, salmon, herbal teas, specialty coffee's, juices and even prosecco is available.
The hotel is in a great quiet location, 20 min straight walk into old town or you can easily get the tram or metro. We used the metro every day, 1 euro each for a 30min ticket for 3 zones which you can use on all transport systems. There are also day tickets available. The metro station "Krisikova" is a one minute walk from the hotel, the first left. Get the metro to "mustek" (5 mins travel, 3rd metro stop) and you are one min walk from Wenceslas Square and and 5-10 min walk (depending on tourist traffic) to old town square. Prague is an amazing city and this hotel will make your trip even more enjoyable! Also try the Krystal restaurant across the road, we had dinner here one of the nights and both the service and the food/wine was fantastic.Other very impressive restaurants include "Como" on Wenceslas square and "Pasta Fresca" in old town. We will definitely stay in this hotel again!

Room Tip: There is no city noise if you stay at the back of the hotel and close the window at night. There is...

We stayed three nights on a mid week break. What an upbeat hotel. Everyone was very friendly and the service good. Breakfast was an excellent buffet and rooms very large with very comfortable beds - at little noisy on the front. Very conveniently placed for transport - trams into city go past the door and metro station a few yards away. Quirky interesting "reclaimed" furniture.
