We found the hotel a very welcoming and comfortable place to stay. It was very conveniently situated near the Old Town. The room was comfortable, very clean and quiet as we were at the back overlooking some gardens. The staff were very helpful, even letting us book in early. Breakfasts were excellent and served in a charming area, our only slight criticism being that the hot food could have been kept a little warmer. Would certainly recommend this hotel (and Prague which proved a delightful city).

Great hotel in perfect location , most of the major attractions , old town square, Charles bridge , powder tower all within walking distance, also reasonably priced bars and restaurants providing you venture just a short distance from the overpriced old town square area..The hotel service was excellent with friendly and helpful staff and the buffet breakfast was terrific. We pre booked our taxi on line to and from the airport and again we had no problems, efficient and reasonably priced.
When we return to Prague we will definatley be staying at the K and K Central.

Room Tip: Rooms to the side of the hotel have a good view over gardens of hotel next door.

This an Art Nouveax hotel with great charm. The included breakfast buffet is excellent in a sun filled room. I had a very quiet room. The hotel is near many restaurants and entertainment but is not in the central hotel/shopping area. It us within walking distance of The Charles Bridge, Jewish Quarter, Wen Square, OldTown and a huge modern shopping mall. Minutes from the subway. The rooms have refrigerator, safe, coffee maker, and tv. Most of the staff speaks Eng well. Traveled alone and felt quite safe in the whole city. The front desk staff can be uncooperative, haughty and unresponsive. Don't let that deter you from this gracious, old European city and hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for an upgrade to Jr Suite-- it's very roomy. Some hotel rooms in Prague can be small.

Stayed 11-13 November 2011 for a mini break. Booked this holiday on the back of trip advisor recommendations and people, you didn't fail me. This Hotel is just on the edge of Old Town, and is 100 yds from the Powder Tower. A gentle 10 minute stroll gets you to Old Town Square and a gentle 20 minute walk through beautiful buildings, quaint alleyways, cobbled streets gets you to the Charles Bridge. We used Prague Shuttle - again another trip advisor recommendation - to get from the airport to the Hotel. www.prague-airport-shuttle.com. Our flight was late but Chris was still waiting for us and on the return the guy turned up right on time. Anway, back to the Hotel..... on check in we had been upgraded to an Executive Room - I had emailed the Hotel as it was a special occasion - hubby's 50th - and within a few minutes of getting to the room they sent up a bottle of champage and chocolates. How Lovely, thank you.

The room has flat screen TV, tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom whilst small has all you need and is spotlessly clean. If travelling with hand luggage, you won't need to bring toiletries as shampoo, conditioner body wash is provided. No hassles at the airport. Beds were really comfy and with secondary glazing and dark curtains despite being at the front of the hotel we had no disturbances.

Breakfast as has been reported in other reviews is a self service buffet affair; a good mix of hot and cold, breads, fruit, ham, cheese, juices, bacon, sausages. Excellent and at the weekend the breakfast times 6.30am to 12.00pm !! Weekdays till 11.00am. The staff are all friendly and helpful and all speak english. I really rate this Hotel and would have no hesitation stopping here again.

Prague - a beautiful, compact City which you can easily do in a weekend. There are the usual hop on hop off bus trips and guided tours but to be honest you can walk to most places. Even the castle and cathedral from the Hotel Central was a leisurely 40 min walk, but can be interpersed with pit stops for coffee and strudel. All the food we had was well presented and delicious. But be warned, Prague is not cheap. There are numerous places to eat to suit all budgets but when we went exchange rate was100 czech crown = £4.00. Therefore two coffees and two cakes at a classy cafe cost about £15. That said, they were really lovely warm strudels, with whipped cream, sprinkled with nuts and chocolate, oh yes .....

Loved Prague, Loved K & K Hotel Central, Loved Prague Shuttle, Loved the Czech people. Work tomorrow........

Great hotel, located in the old town. Short distance to most of the sights.
The hotel is old & modern, tasteful and clean.
Always included breakfast and internet.
If you need Wifi, ask for a room with good connection, my did not.
Great staff and service!
