The hotel is in a great location to explore Prague - it's on a relatively quiet street but just a couple of minutes walk from the opera house, 5 mins from the main square and 10 mins from Charles Bridge.

The hotel itself has a very "corporate" feel to it. That's not supposed to be a criticism as such, just a statement that you should come to this hotel if you want a nice base to explore the city, but not for the "ultimate hotel experience".

The hotel is spotlessly clean, the staff very helpful, and the breakfasts very good - look out for the free champagne which we didn't notice until the final morning! The rooms are on the small side, but you have everything you need and they are very comfortable.

We came here from Paris on the second part of our honeymoon and greatly enjoyed the hotel. Room was comfortable and clean, the hotel was generally quiet and the breakfast was excellent and available early. Service was first class. The hotel has Internet access in the lobby which was a plus.
Location is within a few minutes walk of the Town Square and very close to subway and tram lines.
Only downside was the bar was a bit pricey (but there were two liquor stores selling wine in the same block) and there was no hot water in our room the morning we left.
We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at the K&K for three nights end of March as wanted a base to see Prague. The location is excellent, very convenient base for walking, shopping eating etc and the Hotel has an elegance about it that makes it a joy to enter. An 'art nouveau' facade and interior fixtures with a very modern minimalist interior decor ( first hotel I have taken photographs of for some time) and whilst the Hotel was busy, as demonstrated at breakfast, it always seemed calm and collected with efficient staff doing their jobs.

Had a room in the 'new' part of the Hotel on the seventh floor which was clean and comprised all the facilities you would expect. It was, however, next to the lift shaft and some noise intruded into the room at times.

Generally we ate out, but had a meal in the Hotel on one night as we were tired from walking. The food was fine but it is an expensive experience, especially when considering the options around. On the previous evening we had eaten at the restaurant across the road (Needles restaurant) which had a lively atmosphere, good food and was much better value.

Breakfast was enjoyable with a good variety of options and being served until 1100am made it a much more civilized start to the day.

My stay at this hotel was indeed very memorable. Not only because the first thing I heard on the TV when arriving and getting ready for a shower, was the death of Michael Jackson, but we walked into a beautiful reception, and the rest of the hotel was just as nice. After beeing in prague earlier, and staying at the "wrong side" of the river, I knew that location is a big deal when staying here. For sure, you can get hotels inside of the old city, but this hotel gives amazing value when it comes to price vs location.. You stare right into the old city gate's when walking out on the streets. You walk 75 meters, and your'e hundreds of years back in time. just amazing..
The breakfast was ok. ask my wife and she will say it was the best breakfasts ever. serving champagne at breakfast was the reason for that. :)
When going back to prague, I will definately try to book this hotel as first choice..

stayed here on business with colleagues and found the hotel to be ideal. Excellent rooms, very modern and clean (although very very warm). Great location to the central square. Fab breakfast. Great for business and pleasure. Would stay again.
