A wonderful hotel set in a quiet and tranquil location. Not in the centre of town but it's within easy walking distance of the main sights and attractions. Staff were extremely polite, helpful and were always available to answer any questions. Room was spacious, clean and fully equipped with all the essentials. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to friends and family, especially during the festive period when you can enjoy the wonderful sights, smells and sounds of the Christmas fare.

Before we arrived the staff had been in contact to check if they could help with our plans, then each time we passed reception likewise...perfectly helpful without being pushy.
Room was a lovely size, very comfortable and had okay views across the parks etc. Had a very Romantic and yet Homely feel to it.
Breakfast is basic (no hot dishes and just filter coffee), but still perfect to set you up for the day.
Location, as everyone says, is "2 mins walk from the castle, 15mins down, 20 up from Charles Bridge"...and each of those minutes is through lovely old streets.
It is not a 5* international chain, but then we never feel comfortable in them and we did instantly here - we have already recommended the hotel to many people and will continue to do so.

Stayed for 4 nights in December 2011 - very nice, clean room, and the heating was very good. Breakfast was substantial, and the location was great for sightseeing. However I wouldn't recommend staying here if you like being in the center of things, but if like us you enjoy some peace and quiet it's perfect. Staff were very helpful at every opportunity, and I recommend taking up the option of the hotel organising a driver to collect from/drop you off at the airport.

Room Tip: We were in room 1 - fine for us, but an older couple or someone with mobility problems might struggle with the number of steep stairs to the room, and the big step out of the shower cubicle.

Concur completely with all other reviews even if it does mean the hotel will be fully booked when we want to return !
Wonderful reception and warmth from all the staff--puts most places to shame--and a quiet peaceful location yet only 15mins walk from Charles Bridge.
Look no further. You will find nothing better.
Simon and Penny, UK

Room Tip: De luxe room was very spacious.

Very helpful staff - including pick and delivery to the airport.
Great room - reasonable with good views and everything we needed.
Very good location - short walk to Prague Castle but slightly removed from the traffc of the town - for us, well worth the walk up the steps!
