“great and relaxed hostel!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 May 2014 via mobile

We stayed for three nights and reali liked Hostel Elf. Location is good, near train station and only 10-15 minute walk to the city center. Also the room was spacey and colorfully decorated. Hostel Elf also has a free breakfast, nothing special but still it's nice to have some toast and coffee every morning. The hostel also had free bbq nights and happy hours on weekends. The athmosphere was a bit hippie, but the hostel was overall clean and very comfortable place to sleep. Very good hostel! I would definitely stay there again!

We chose this place for our main sleeping place for a Erasmus reunion. It had a quite decent location (around 15 minutes on foot from the city centre/points of interest). We had a 6 person room, which was a bit narrow, but long so we managed all to fit and to actually have some space to move around. The beds where comfortable, the room was nice and clean. The only difficulty was the Wi-Fi that worked really bad in the hostel, except for maybe one or two places close to the router. Facilities such as toilets/showers and kitchent where ok, nothing special, but nothing bad as well. The staff was great though, very helpful, and nice. Also breakfasts were pretty nice, and satysfying :).

We only had stayed one night in Prague at this hostel and it was fine. It is a bit difficult to find but no mor than 15 min walk out of the center town. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms as well. Downstairs there were computers and a good kitchen but the common room was by the reception. The wifi wasn't the best but Ok.

Young, vibrant hostel. Within walking distance of the city centre. Cheap and cheerful and friendly enough I suppose, felt awkward at times. Clean enough. Basic breakfast but fine. Unlimited tea. Lots of young people around. Mind you it was good value for money in a big city.
But... they could do with a few changes.
Maybe having a time limit on computer use if it is busy, some people sat on computers for ages without any concern for others.
Rooms are very bright - bring ear covers.
Some dorm rooms were so messy too. Maybe I'm too old for this.
Most of all... The hostel is so so noisy. At times ridiculously noisy!! Couldn't sleep, had to go out and buy ear plugs. Ridiculous!!!

Room Tip: Bring ear plugs and a blanket.

Really nice hostel with everything you need and really clean.
Only two downsides are that it's not located directly in the city centre, a bit to walk and that the cleaning lady starts at 8am, which woke me up several times, but the rest was just perfect and affordable

The hostel is very closed to the bus station - about 4minutes by walk, which is a big plus if you have a morning bus. Behind the hostel is a park with a great view and it is located a few steps from a bar area.. They offer free breakfast, wifi and one night there was a free BBQ. The other day there were happy hours so the beer was for 50cents!!! Bathrooms were clean, also our room was very clean! Thumb up for computers and fully equiped kitchen you can use all the time!!

I stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed the hostel and its facilities. The only bad thing was the quality of the wif (pretty bad). The breakfast is included and it is very good! The location is perfect too because is near the bus station and the old town.
