Made the trip from Andel just to try this place out and the upstairs
barewery/bar area.
We entered and went straight upstairs where we were told the whole bar is booked
and we would have to leave, although there was not a single customer in the place.
This at 3pm in the afternoon.
If the place is for private parties only they should make it clear.
I would never risk going again in case it was another wasted journey.

we stayed at the U Medvidku Brewery Hotel located in the middle of Prague. we found the food to be so good that we made our way back there every evening to try something else on the menu. we had to pre book every day because it has to be the most popular eating place in Prague. they always made room for us because we were hotel guests. It is easy to walk to the different places of interest from the hotel. the staff were excellent and anxious to please. the rooms were large and comfortable and the prices very good.

Hotel was clean, very good value, breakfast included in price was great, buffet, traditional food - cheese, sausages etc.
The bar at the hotel has a good atmosphere in the evenings and we spent a fair amount of time at the hotel bar!
The restaurant was excellent and was the best dinner we had in Prague. There is a wide choice of traditional Czech food on the menu, very reasonably priced.

The only downside to the hotel was that our room was fairly noisy in the mornings when staff were cleaning/rattling crockery quite early. Once I had my ear plugs in I slept like a baby!

Well situated, nice clean rooms, good breakfasts, helpful clerks, quirky concept- a fun place to stay. The attached restaruant had great authentic Czech food. The hotel is located about 1/2 way between the historic square and St. Wencenlas Square and within walking distance of several other sites, but still on a quiet street. Good wi-fi connection.

Stayed for three nights with three other friends in one of their ENORMOUS quad rooms. Service at the front desk was fantastic and very accomodating to any requests, and I highly recommend the restaurant/microbrewery attached to the hotel. We were starving when we arrived, and the wild boar/creamed spinach/mashed potato plate that graced my placed at the table (with great beer!) was a satisfying bargain. Spacious accomodations, friendly staff, very walkable to the major tourist attractions in Prague - great place to stay!

This hotel is fine. It's well located and the staff are helpful.

We paid extra for a 'historical' room which may not have been worth it although the door to the room was quite impressive.

Breakfast was terrible as was the food in the attached restaurant (although that was true of most food in the Czech Republic).

Overall, decent value.
