My friend and I stayed here for a week and had a wonderful time. The rooms are clean and fairly spacious. The staff are friendly and helpful.

While we were there the hostel hostel two free BBQs, there is also a buffet breakfast each morning which is reasonably cheap. One night a local Czech man came around and held a beer tasting session in the bar downstairs. They are also pub crawls and free walking tours that run from the hostel.

The facilities are clean and functioning, the kitchen in well stocked and modern. There are computers available as well as wifi which seems to work everywhere except in the outside courtyard. The downstairs bar is cozy and reasonably priced.

The location is a little away from the centre but there is tram stop just around the corner and it is 10min ride. There are also some mini markets and restaurants near the tram stop.

We had a wonderful time exploring Prague and meeting other travellers at Sir Toby's. Definitely recommend.

Sir Toby's was totally the highlight of my Inter-rail adventure! It is pretty damn cool and I must recommend that you try to stay there!

I guarantee that you will not find a cleaner, friendlier, happier hostel to stay at. It has dorms with THREE HIGH BUNK BEDS, which are comfy and don't endlessly creek as people move in them at night... I've had worse nights sleep in 5 star hotels - honest.

It is also, and most importantly, SOCIAL. This is thanks mainly to the pub and it's activities, the main one being getting people drunk enough to breakdown social barriers (and doors) and eccentrically communicate with fellow travelers for as little as £5. I can strongly recommend Listerine shots, Amundsen plum liqure and the awesome local beer. Other activities include quiz nights, darts nights and BBQ night all completely FREE. The review would not be complete without a shout-out to barman Karlo who kept everyone thoroughly entertained.

The hostel has all the bells and whistles one wouldn't expect from an establishment as reasonably priced as this. Namely, a well equipped kitchen, free maps, friendly staff, the list goes on.

The essence of the place is summed up by the events of my final night there. we scrapped together about 30 strangers from the hostel and all marched on town for a cracking night out, made many friends.

Room Tip: 12 person dorm, can't beat it and take the top bunk!

This hostel is clean with very friendly staff. The free barbecue night was fantastic. The hostel is a short tram ride away from the city center but the area is very nice and it is right next to the DOX art centre which had an impressive exhibition on world war one. The bar downstairs is a great place to hang out but gets quite hot. The breakfast is also excellent and a great price - it is a little dark in the bar area in the morning (which is where you also have breakfast) but overall the hostel is outstanding

Room Tip: Beware the shared dorms are very different - our room was a six bed femal dorm and was very spacious...

This is just as described!! I stayed in a room of 5 with a bathroom fro us all. The people in my room were lovely and the staff were even better. The staff help advise you on the best places to go and how to get there on the trams. They provided a BBQ while I was there but I heard they do different activities each night! I would recommend staying here, even though it is not in the centre of Prague.

We turned up all tired after our train journey, and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. They explained everything to us about the hostel, and told us to head up and freshen up, then come back down and they'd tell us about the local area and explain trams etc.. The only little downside is that the hostel's a 10 minute tram into the city centre, but at 24 CZK a ticket (like 60/70p!) you really can't complain.

First night there was a free BBQ; completely free and unlimited. It wasn't just a little burger either, but loads of meats, breads, salads and crisps. The bar downstairs is so cool and the beer is less than a £1!! Soft drinks are like 80p too.
We didn't use the kitchen to cook, but it looked all modern and clean.
Rooms were great, clean single beds with a spacious and clean bathroom.
Breakfast is 100CZK if I remember right (so like £3) and it's so so good. Juices, good coffee, meats, yogurts, fruit, and a make-your-own omelette station.
The surrounding local area is a bit rundown, but there are some few nice restaurants and bars, although the hostel bar is too good to bother looking for anywhere else!
Would seriously recommend, best hostel we stayed at during our whole interrail.

Three of us travelled here and stayed at Sir Toby's. It was a wonderful visit and a great experience! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hostel itself has a wide range of fun activities like a free Barbecue and cheap happy hours at the bar. Lovely time here!
