Handsome, brilliant renovation of 2 medieval buildings connected now. We had one of the budget rooms which was 99 Euro's a night. So it was a tiny room, up some attractive funky stairs overlooking the main street. A beautiful view from all 3 windows. Adorable room with a very comfortable bed and comforter. Pristine clean. The glass enclosed bathroom was actually part of the itty bitty room and the bed was actually matresses on the floor- maybe it was on some small platform. So this room is not for every one. Good knees for getting up and down and an openness about showering with only plate glass between you and your roommate. But this didn't bother us at all. And in fact we found it charming.
Breakfast was excellent: everything crab except perhaps the fruit drink/ orange juice. There everything I wanted and need and all well cooked and presented.
The staff was cheerful, helpful and problem solving. They even opened the breakfast service for us because we had to leave by 7 am. Above and beyond.
So for the price, I felt I got an eclectic, modern, tasteful hotel with very good service.

I am a frequent traveler for business and have seen my share of rooms over the years. In particular I know that when traveling Europe, the rooms, service and amenities can be highly variable.

However, I spent three nights in this hotel in early October in the new section and was completely charmed. I loved the modern design and decor and the wonderful view of the street from my room. The staff was very courteous and the breakfast good. As others have said, the location could not be better. I highly recommend this hotel.

We booked the Neruda Design Hotel in Prague last minute for a standard room. We made the decision based on the nice fotos on the internet page and the good reviews. Unfortunately our experience was not at all as nice. The lobby and the restaurant of the hotel are really nice looking and the location is pretty good with a walking distance to the old down town of 15 min.

The standard room we got was small, dark and the bathroom had a strong unpleasant smell. The aircondition did not work and even with an extra vent the room did not cool down - the outside temperature was only in the mid sixties F.

Overall the price / quality ratio even at the "special" rate we got is not right. No way this hotel has earned four stars.

Stayed for 3 nights in one room. Great location near Charles Bridge and the castle. Staff were very friendly and helpful. However, room was more basic than those shown on the website and nowhere near as opulent. Breakfast was fine, though refills of food could be a bit slow coming. Also, wifi not available in rooms, just in reception and dining area. Overall, would agree with others in that experience depends on room.

Been past this hotel many times in the past and always fancied staying there as it is in a fab location and looked cool. Well, it's a strange place to be honest; as I said great location with a nice genteel feel to the locality, much quieter than even just down the hill. Rooms look great too, but 'design & style'? No, I would say more style over substance. The glass surrounded bath was a nice touch, but no bedside furniture (where do you put your books/mobile etc.). Plus no bedside reading light so you have to get out of bed to switch the light off, not great when you just want to crash out. Only power points were underneath the bed and even with an attempt at being a contortionist it was impossible to reach them. They advertise a romantic terrace open until 10pm. Oh no it isn't, 2 nights running it was shut. Tried it during the day and waited 20 minutes until we could alert the hotel to our presence. Reception staff very nice to be fair, but 679 koruna to the airport via hotel taxi is far too expensive. All in all a nice hotel, but it needs attention to detail to lift it to where I think it wants to be.

Stayed here with my sister for 6 nights in late August and just loved this place! Beautiful old building totally refurbished with modern decor - very atmospheric and reasonably priced. Wonderful breakfasts and very helpful staff. The location could not be more perfect, in Mala Strana just under the Castle and close to everything. We walked everywhere. Although we shared a king bed it was spacious and comfortable and the duvets and pillows were soft and comfy. The bathroom had a huge tub with hand held shower so you had to sit to shower but that was fine by us. We highly recommend this hotel!

My wife and I just got back from this lovely hotel. We stayed in one of their superior rooms, in the upgraded ones (there are a few, price varies).
The staff was very hospitable (and some are fluent in many languages)
Our room was huge, with modern minimalistic styling which blended great with the older wooden beems (as seen in the pic. above).
Breakfast could use a few more ingrediants...
The hotel is PERFECTLY LOCATED in the upper area of the embassies, a 2 minute walk from the castle and about 5-8 minutes away from the Charles bridge.
We had a small misshap, and the GREAT STAFF took care of all our needs, thank you Monia.

All in all- When in Prague- this is a great place to stay.
