Description: The brewery and restaurant U Tri ruzi in Prague is situated in the historical center on Husova street close to the famous Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. Right after your entering the feeling of the unique atmosphere of an Old-Prague brewery will overcome you. The feeling is intensified by wall-paintings by artists Jiri Bernard and Pavel Jakl who drew and painted pictures about the history of brewing in the Czech lands as the rich history of the house (the brewery U Tri ruzi).

We had this restaurant marked down to visit but unfortunately did not come across it until our final day. The beer is brewed on site and the black beer the best we encountered over the five days, even better than the black Kozel beer.
Located just out of Old Town , on 10 Husova the prices are reasonable for the area and the food was very tasty, just a pity the staff could not raise a smile. We had 4 different dishes and all were too a high quality. All around are pictures and murals on the walls in an adult where's Wally theme . As you enter the Copper mash Tuns are to the rear of the bar , unfortunately the bar lighting gave the photos a flashback glare. The seating keeps you well separated from other patrons, unlike others we went to , where you could not move your chair without knocking against your neighbour. A more welcoming attitude from the staff would have gained the full 5 stars!

I don't eat meat and as with every traditional Czech restaurant, its almost impossible to get good veggie food but my partners meal was superb (lamb in beer!), the ambiance was ideal and their own black lager was actually the best I've ever tasted - and I consider myself a bit of a connoisseur in them. Utterly delicious! Highly recommended CENTRAL brewpub.

This restaurant is in the heart of Prague, but the prices are adequate. The food is good, fresh. They make their own beer, and it is quite good.

The staff is not that friendly but the beer is quite Ok. Place looks nice and when we were there they were brewing a new batch of beer which smelled great.

Great beer - the amber beer was expecially tasty, but both mine and my wife's ribs were sadly disappointing. They were labeled as "one pound", but had a high percentage of that being bone and fat. The taste of the meat was good however.

Dear sir,

Than you very much for writting a review about U Tří růží. It´s really important for us and helping us to move foward . Our ribs are really famous in our restaurant, but we had some guest´s and they had a same opinion as you do. Sometimes there was more fat than meat .

To prevent this our chef changed the recepie and supplier. Now there is a much more meat on them and our guest´s are much happier .

Regards
