Relatively authentic by Prague Chinese restaurant standards, this place is in the middle range price-wise and cheap by international standards. I've been going there on and off for about five years and I must say that in most respects it has been in slow decline. It's another case where costs are being wrung out and it is starting to show. From beautiful cloth napkins to a paper napkin almost too small to wipe your lips is a sad trajectory. The food is still acceptable and you can certainly do a lot worse in Prague.

We were staying at hotel in the same road and had a couple of meals here late at night on our way home.

The food was tasty and well presented, (AND we didn't wake up with indigestion which is a problem we both have when eating late)

The ingredients were all freshly prepared and the sauces didn't rely on MSG (Monosodium Glutanate) for flavour.

My wife and I went there for Saturday lunch. The food was like in a cheap Chinese restaurant somewhere in Toronto Chinatown and not quite attractively presented. In soup the chef put too much soy sauce (hot and sour) and rice was cold. The overall experience and food were poor. The staff had stony faces and acted professionally but without any sign of being pleased that we are paying customers. It is wonder that they stay in business. From about 15 tables only three were occupied, including ours. When we were leaving and said "good-bye" nobody answered or took notice of our departure. The place is not inexpensive.

Taste of Chinese dishes was average level in our Japanese. It was regrettable that beer had not got cold, but staff's attitude to try to fulfill our favorite taste was wonderful.
