“Nice wine bar”

Very nice wine bar in the city centre. They offer a lot of czech good wines. My favourite is czech cheese - tvarůžky and a lot of plates of cheeses to the wine.

“A monarch amongst wine bars”
Reviewed 22 March 2014

We happened on this wine bar accidentally. A glance in through the window attracted us inside, to met by a strong yet welcoming aroma of cheese. We were immediately greeted warmly by one of the staff, and shown to a table. Knowing nothing of Czech wine we asked the waiter for his recommendation of a red. He served us Frankovka, a very good choice indeed we realised -- and served at room temperature! The following evening we went back there to eat: duck rillette, meat loaf and fruit tart. All were delicious, and the bill was very reasonable and the atmosphere very relaxed and convivial with a broad cross-section of clientele.

The service was friendly and very attentive. But this is something we enjoyed in all Prague restaurants -- something that British establishments could, and should, learn a serious lesson from.

“Great winebar”
Reviewed 14 March 2014 via mobile

Good wine for reasonable prices, 65 Kc per glas. We loved the local sauvignon blanc. Food is fine no super quality but oke regarding the price.

“The Best Wine Bar in Prague”
Reviewed 16 January 2014

I have been visiting Prague on a regular basis with work since 2006 and always try to fit in a visit to this wine bar whenever possible.
The layout is simple, the range of wine very good with very knowledgeable waiters, which can be accompanied by a selection of Cheeses, cooked meat and bread.
