Location is not thrilling, maybe let yourself to be driven here by a cab. But believe me it's worth it. Excellent food, great and friendly service, and most importantly - the best beer in Prague - small private breweries that show off literally the best beer - you must give it a try and taste at least one. Let yourself for Matuska beer - I guarantee you'll be amazed. Watch out - it's strong!! :)

We spent 929 (£28) on 2 starters 2 mains 2 beers and 2 glasses of red wine. The place was mainly serving locals probably because they served 5 different types of beer. The menu is quite small so if you are a fussy eater this probably isn't the place for you. We had 'beer cheese' for starters mainly because we were intrigued as to what it was. Turned out it was beer flavoured blue cheese pâté which was fantastic! We then had pork which was pink and tasted fantastic. This is when you realise we English massively overcook pork!! Overall a fantastic evening in a place we would highly recommend.

e were recommended this place by a local, so went with out a booking. Decor simple. Wine and beer great. Menu changes daily, yesterday I had the pork belly with parsnip mash and rhubarb-this was the most amazing combination and definitely the best dinner at a restaurant I have ever had. My partner had a delishes fish dish however we both agreed the pork was the winner. Also has the lemon tart which was not so nice, base was very hard and lacked flavour however we were still very happy due to the great mains. Excellent value-3 beers, 3 wines, 2 mains and 1 dessert was about 750 Czk and with tip 1000czk so really great value. If we ever return to Prague we will be back-i hope we are :)

This unpretentious restaurant/bar is worthy of high praise. It was a quiet Thursday evening in Prague and we arrived (without booking) and were comfortably seated by the unfussy and efficient wait staff.
The food was of a very high standard. Three different meals, perfectly cooked and presented (Salmon, Mahi Mahi, and Lamb). The restaurant is impeccably clean, the staff friendly and attentive and although the menu was presented only in Czech, the staff provided an excellent translation to English.
The nature of the restaurant is very relaxed and one feels no pressure to eat quick and leave. We stayed until the bar closed (as did the other guests) and would highly recommend this hidden gem to fellow travellers to Prague.
