“4 Star Prague 1 on a budget”
Reviewed 25 September 2013

Excellent accomodation, ideally located in Prague 1. Despite being in close proximity to the reasonably priced Metro line, most attractions are within walking distance from this period property. The accomodation was spacious and the small kitchenette was ample for the minimal amount of times we ate in. Despite the beautiful original wooden flooring throughout we never experienced any negative issues relative to sound proofing. Definitely worth a visit for both couples and families alike. In short outstanding location and outstanding value for money.

Room Tip: We had a room to the rear of the property which was quiet, however I would suggest that the Roma to...

My stay was very nice: clean and spacious apartment charming and attentive staff.
The location close to the main tourist attractions, is very advantageous. Ultimately, no complaints, except maybe one night, there were noisy neighbors rather late.
I would stay there again.
In addition, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the people in general in Prague, their willingness to give information.

Room Tip: We opted for the apartment "a superior room 2 adults" on the first floor.

Excellent, friendly staff. Always ready to help, nothing was a bother to them. Location was fantastic, the old town was 5 to 10 minutes walk, trams ( esp. the ones going to the Castle is easy just along the major road a few metres from the apartment) and metro was right around the corner (metro to other districts, or to the airport via the Palladium). We arrived from the Florenc bus station and walked about fifteen minutes with luggage to the apartment, easy peasy. It was a quiet area although near a major road, no problems walking home at night. Shops are near if you need to buy some food stuff. It's at a walking distance to all major attractions (from the Tyn to the Jewish quarter!) Rooms were very spacious and clean. And you feel you have privacy even though you're at the centre of Prague. We even got a welcome AND a parting gift, which was a nice surprise. Only qualm was that there was a bit of footstep noise above our room (308) in the morning. I don't know if this applies to all rooms. Still, excellent overall. Would return in a heartbeat!

My boyfriend and i have been backpacking around europe for 2 weeks now, and since prague is so inexpensive we decided to go big (within budget that is)! The hotel is amazing :) nicely decorated in a central location with friendly staff for a great price. The bed is a little stiff, but still an upgrade from bunk beds so no complaints!

Had to move locations quckly and looked for a double room apartment and we booked this place. Staff were nice and friendly. Apartment was amazing, big spacious and had everything. We requested a double with twin beds and got more! Location was good area with in easy access to the old town and next to the big shopping mall. Awesome Italian restaurant across the street too so great for dinner. Place was clean and internet was great and worked. Staff left us beer and goodbye treats, very thoufhtful. Only complaint is their hot water in the building broke and we were not informed. I know these things happen so ur wasn't a big deal, just wished the wound have communicated that to us, instead of standing in the bathroom for 10 min waiting for hot water. I would still stay here in a heartbeat again.

We stayed here for 2 nights in May and despite the torrential rain and flooding had a great time. The apartment was basic but spacious. The location is perfect and is only a short walk from loads of nice bars and restaurants, 15minutes from the old town. The reception staff are lovely and really helpful.

My wife is doing a study abroad in Prague and sharing a cramped apartment with three other girls. I came to visit her in Prague and we stayed her. This apartment was bigger than her apartment. It has a small kitchenette that my wife did manage to cook in one night. It has a nice sitting room, a bedroom and a decent bathroom. The building itself is very nice with a iron lattice staircase. For the price, this gave us more privacy and more room than a normal hotel room. This is more like an apartment so there are the quirks that your first apartment out of college had. The hot water in the shower worked but it was tricky to get right. The drain in the stand-up shower was slow and almost overfilled a few times. The bed was two twins pushed together which meant to snuggle with my wife I was on the seam between the two beds. All in all, this is an excellent choice if you don't want to pay luxury prices in Prague.
