Cafe&Bar is located in old city square. There is outdoor seating with beautiful view to old city hall and White tower. Hamburger from week menu was simply delicious.

“Not a bad place for coffee and cake on the Old Town Square.”
Reviewed 9 April 2014

We stopped at this cafe about five times when we were in the area of the Old Town Square. Having tried a couple of other cafes, this was the most comfortable with glass panels and patio style heaters around the open air area to stop the chill wind whistling through. It is right by the old clock and a good place to people watch. All the cafes on this square are more expensive than elsewhere but this was reasonable. Prices were 214czk for tea and a cappuccino, 995czk for a G&T, large cognac brandy and coffee, 1468Czk for a sandwich type meal and drinks, the sandwiches being quite nice. It became our favourite place to stop while passing through that area for either a coffee or drinks in the day or later on at night for coffee, cake and brandies. Be warned though, the toilet attendant, who is there to deter tourists who are not using the cafe, will try to charge you for entry to the toilets unless you insist that you are a customer having food or drink.

“Delicious and worth to visit”
Reviewed 29 December 2013

Nice romantic place for relax and fine dining. The menu (fairly often changed) is limited, but everybody can choose up to personal preferences - fishes, more kind of tasty meat, pasta, and also Hungarian specialities prepared by Hungarian chef Krisztián Pásztor. He is like magician by preparing the sweet deserts. Highly recommended! Speciality - 18 layered "Prague paving block" in original design!
Live music on harpsichord or piano (sometimes you can participate on the bar piano players contest held here).
Really worth to see is the Cigar lounge made from the old giant vault of former Mortgage Bank, though you don´t smoke. Very watchful and friendly staff.

“'Fine dining'”
Reviewed 3 December 2013

Good value for money 'fine dining' albeit with a limited menu. Situated in the beautiful Boscolo hotel where the staff are attentive and friendly. Don't be intimidated by the very grand lobby, but do take the opportunity to see the old bank vaults in the Cigar Room opposite the 'Cafe'.
