We stopped by this little shop on Nerudova to warm ourselves and have a drink and snack during a cold day of sightseeing in Prague. It is located not more than 8-10 minute walk from the castle grounds.
We tried two of the trdelniks (50kr each), the almond and the cinnamon varieties. They were both baked quite thoroughly, making them a bit hard. We prefer the trdelniks a bit softer and doughier but these were still good enough and a bit larger in portion size as well (rating 3 of 5).
Hot chocolate (50kr) which was a hot chocolate drink mix variety not the warm cup of actual hot chocolate that you can find in cafes in Prague but still ok (3 of 5). Espresso Lungo (39kr) was fine as well.
In all all food and drinks were pretty much just ok (rating 3 of 5), making this just a place to stop if your feet are tired. Nothing particularly special about Creperie U Kajetana other than location. We might stop here again or pass on and try another of the many cafes in this area of the city.
Hint: A real winner in this area is the Bon Bon Cafe, one street over on Mala Strana. This was a great stop for coffee, hot drinks and wine.
