“Hidden Gem - good sandwich & croissants”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

Really fresh sandwiches. Somewhat smaller but the quality is definitely there. Croissants for only 29Kc were really rich and tasty. Servers were typical Czech servers.

“Excellent Snacks”
Reviewed 20 April 2014

Located in the Pohorelec district above the Castle and Loreta we stopped at La Patisserie for an afternoon snack. I must say I wish we had discovered this place much earlier !

There is a vast array of freshly made sandwiches, cakes, pastries and salads available, with two helpings of Russian Salad with a bread roll coming to 28 KCS and a large slice of cake being 26 KCS. A bottle of beer was 29 KCS, a large glass of wine 30 KCS whilst a Latte cost 45 KCS.

Whilst most of the customers were for take-away orders, there are a few tables and chairs to eat in. The two ladies serving behind the counter were very helpful.

“Best Strudel in Prague”
Reviewed 20 March 2014

found this little patisserie by chance, by far the best strudel we ate during our 2 day trip, and we tried a lot! Pleasant, off the main tourist drag.

“DO NOT PASS THIS UP!!!”
Reviewed 30 May 2013

Whether you speak Czech, English...or any other language, the employees at this quaint spot will have you smiling at the Amazing array of visually pleasing and incredible tasting savouries or desserts lovingly prepared fresh each morning. The lovely blonde lady that I have had the fortune to serve me my past two visits in the past three years has prepared delicacies there for over 20 years. If you travel to Prague and visit the castle...your trip will not be as fulfilled if you do not stop in at La Patisserie.

“Great food”
Reviewed 4 April 2013

A really nice place, where you can taste the typical czech food as a chlebichek, bramborac, some pasteries and a big choice of salads and another small meals to calm down your stomach after visiting Prague! You can also taste absinth and some czech Becherovka, it warms you up during cold winter!
